This is a great mid season jacket. The fit is great allowing for some light layering underneath. Haven’t tested it yet, but the material seems like it will work well in light rain. Also helps to stop the wind very well. I use this one until the temps dip into the 30’s then switch over to the stratus jacket.

This jacket is a great every day solid color jacket that can be worn to work or play…it’s even good in light rain if you are in the weather for short intervals…..wind is no issue w this jacket either

Favorite Jacket

The Jetstream is a must for multiple applications. Winter steelhead fishing on the OR coast or mid season hunting. Has an excellent soft shell that is windproof and keeps you dry in variable weather.

Guide

Waterfowl guide in Oklahoma and I wear this jacket almost daily with absolutely zero complaints. It fits well, completely blocks wind, and has armpit vents to prevent overheating that actually work well. I will be buying a second in a different pattern soon!

A very good Insulating layer

Bought this for a xmas present for my Son-in-Law. Saw my Sitka gear at deer season and was very interested. I received it and immediately sent it back for an exchange for a Stratus Jacket. This Jacket, Jetstream, as the Stratus, runs small. If your a solid Large as I am get an XL.

Lightweight

I am 6 ft and 165 pounds. I usually am between a medium and large with other brands. But with Sitka, I always go up a size. I bought the large but the sleeves were entirely too short (I am a 42 long in a suit). I had to exchange it for a large tall which was perfect. For comparison, I bought a large traverse jacket and it was a good fit. But the jetstream sleeves are much shorter and I had to go up to a large tall.

Fantastic jacket

This is my second jetsteam jacket! This jacket works great as long as you layer underneath you won’t have a problem in any weather.

Versatile and light

Great for outer wear in the fall, and layering in the cold weather. The armpit zippers work well to prevent overheating.

Jet Stream Jacket

I purchased the Jet Stream jacket for hiking because it gave me alot of options for different weather conditions and temps. The moss is a good all around color and caught my eye the first time I saw it. Im 230lbs. and normally size up to a 2XL but the XL in this fit good.

Just got my Jetstream and

Just got my Jetstream and the overall quality is great. Initially my only issue is the sizing is a bit small. I’m an athletic, stocky guy at 5’11” and 240 lbs. I have a 52” chest and a 36” waist so sometimes finding clothing which fits correctly is a challenge. I have the Incinerator set with a XXL coat and XL bib's and they are true to size even with appropriate layering underneath. A XXL in the Jetstream does NOT allow for even a t-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt before it felt snug in the upper back and shoulder area. Therefore I had to return it for. XXXL which I’m going to be drowning in around the waist.

Great piece to use on those windy days when the temperature is dropping. Packs light on the walk in. The exterior is not as quiet as other pieces but I have not had an issue getting busted while in the tree while wearing it.

I have ordered XL in

I have ordered XL in all of my Sitka gear and it has been perfect until now. The Jetstream is only large enough to fit my ambient under it, barely, without it being way too tight across the shoulders. I was so confident in the sizing that I had thrown out the requirements for a return. That was my fault, lesson learned. However the sizing issue needs to be addressed.

This is my third piece of Sitka gear and it has not met my expectations. The jacket is not warm at all, not even sufficient for South Alabama. One of the drawstrings broke after about a month but it’s not worth the time to r trouble to send it for warranty repair. I called customer service to inquire about exchanging it and was told that repair was the only option. I wanted to add a couple Sitka pieces per year but now going to check out other brands.

Jetstream Jacket A Hit!

A quality garment loaded with great features, particularly the Gortex Infinum wind proof feature, which is the main reason I bought this. I’ve worn this jacket many times the past several weeks in a variety of good and foul weather and it has performed as expected. The XL size lets me layer appropriately for different conditions, yet on its own is not too large on me.

Nice jacket

Nice jacket that is great in the wind. Water resistant in light rain but not water proof. The arms are tight so hard to get arms in sleeves when wearing layers.

Awesome rain proof jacket

I’m 6’3 210lbs and got a size XLT and it is perfect. Not too small and big enough to layer underneath. It’s light so you can wear it when it’s rainy and warm out in the South GA weather.

This is my go to outer layer jacket when the temps drop and the wind is whipping. Great functionality with the pit zips to dump unwanted heat while hiking. I’m 6-4” 210 lbs athletic build and the XL tall fits great

Favorite jacket!

I can wear this jacket anywhere through all different temps and it regulates the body temp very well. If it’s below freezing temp I’ll put a hoody under it and I’m good to go. I’ll be buying some different colors.

Killer jacket

Jacket works great to shed wind. It’s not heavily insulated. So if you’re in very cold weather you’ll want an underwater. The armpit vents are great for venting on the hike in. The zippers are cold if you’re not wearing a layer underneath, though. One of my favorite new pieces.

I have an older Jetstream

I have an older Jetstream and this newer one is a bit smaller. It’s great if you want no excess material for archery or climbing, but I was hoping for something like the old model in terms of fit, layering under, and comfort. The material seems rugged and I would take it anywhere I needed a dependable windproof warm shell.

Looks awesome, well constructed but function could be significantly better especially for the cost

I love the way the jacket looks and fits although I needed a 3xl to fit. I bought it two years ago as a year end closeout. If I paid full price i would be very upset. The Gore Windstop doesn't work nearly as well as Cabela's windshear that is a fraction of the price! The Gore Windstop is supposed to be nearly as waterproof as full Goretex and my jacket in a light rain wets all the way through within a few minutes even after having sprayed a full can of Camp Dry on it not more than a week before. The jacket is very well built and looks as good today as the day I got it but the performance is not what I would expect from a jacket that would normally cost almost $400 at full retail and even at the $175 I paid as a year end closeout I am disappointed on the performance. I do love the pit zips for late fall and winter hikes but the wind resistance and waterproofness is why I bought it and they are lacking based upon the hype and my expectations from the descriptions from Sitka.

An ideal jacket for everyday wear, cool / cold weather.

Living in the Eastern Cascade mountains of Oregon we can see low 30's at night, mid to hight 70's by afternoon. The Jetstream Is light, packable, while extremely warm when zipped up. This jacket is a winner. I am an Elk hunter, have worn a camo version for years, purchased this solid colored version for 'street' wear.
