Favorite Jacket

This is my 2nd one. I have an open country one that is several years old and used as an everyday workhorse. I bought a blaze orange one for upland and rifle season. I wear a large in most Sitka but the Jetstream is a little tight in the armpit area I’m 6’ and 185 and the XL works fantastic by itself or a puffy underneath.

Jacket is nice, but only three star because it runs small, xl always fit me perfect but this one is like a large should have gotten a xxl

Absolutely love this jacket. I use it primarily for Waterfowl Hunting. Sometimes underneath my waders and sometimes over top. It is great for active hunts and scouting. I would not recommend it for downpour, but light To medium rain, it works flawlessly. layered properly it got me through the entire season. I am 150 pounds bought a size large. I can layer underneath if needed. A recommendation I would make to Sitka is to make this in snow color white and also add some hand warmer pockets. That would be amazing. I will also be using this jacket for fishing and scouting. It’s an all-around great jacket.

I like it, BUT. . .

Ok, I get the hype for the most part. This is a pretty good jacket. But what I perceive as a flaw is such an egregious one that I think it costs two stars: one per cuff. This is supposed to be windproof and it probably is, but why are the cuffs not able to be cinched at all?! Why? It allows the breeze to blow up the sleeves and I can't keep the sleeves below my bow release. The hood? You can cinch it like three ways. The waisted can also be cinched, but not the cuffs. I would enjoy this so much more if it had adjustable cuffs.

Runs a little big and really feel that sleeve snaps or a Velcro like strap would make this a go to garment Quality is above average but there are others that I would consider if had to do over.

I've not yet worn the jacket in the elements, but it's clearly well constructed. I find it to run small if I wear more than a lightweight shirt underneath. I ordered my usual size for such garments but returned it for one size larger and a "tall" version. New jacket fits very well.

This is possibly the best

This is possibly the best late-season pheasant hunting jacket out there. I started wearing my Jetstream jacket in Marsh while pheasant hunting back in November because it was in my truck from duck hunting. I like it so much, I ordered one in blaze/brown when that new color combo came out. Like this one even more because of the added visibility when hunting public land. Plus it's lightweight and breathable yet blocks the wind perfectly. While not marketed towards upland hunters, this is the best jacket I've used while pheasant hunting. It's windblocking feature is a game changer. I've been searching for 30 years for a good upland jacket and this is it!

Another great product from Sitka. I will always buy Sitka. May cost a little more, but worth every penny. Zero wind getting into this jacket. Repels snow, rain and water very well. Great year round jacket!!!

I have three of these jackets, orange, camo and solid. They are great for outer or mid layer. You need one of these in your outdoor gear arsenal.

Xl tall fits perfect, 6'4" 215. Built well, haven't got to really test it out yet seems like it will do the job and last. Not many jackets with legal blaze orange available unless they're big bulky parkas. Like the camo bottom, overall i really the it. Only reason i didn't give 5 stars is because i haven't got to use it hard yet.

Great jacket for blocking the wind, go 1 size up if you plan on using in real cold weather so you can layer underneath. . . . . . or go true to size and bring along a insulating layer to go over.
