This is my second jet stream jacket. I really appreciate the new design with the blaze orange upper half. My hunting vest doesn’t have enough orange and this will more than make up for it, keeping me visible to fellow hunters in the field. Only improvement would be to have the rubber pull tab on all zipper strings instead of just the main jacket zipper.

I had an opportunity to use this jacket hunting pheasants in Iowa shortly after purchase and there is no doubt that the jacket does do a very nice job cutting the wind. I bought the blaze orange color way intent on using it during rifle and muzzleloader seasons at home and out West as well a upland piece. I would absolutely recommend sizing up if layering up the piece is an option that you’d like to have at your disposal. I am about 6’ and 155 lbs and based on my measurement profile a medium was in order. After having received it there was little doubt that a larger size was needed if any active insulation was to be layered into the system. A large fit the bill perfectly. I am anxious to see how it performs while chasing big game, but from the use it has been subjected to thus far I have been very impressed.

Great jacket as a solid shell. I ordered a large, which I wear a size large of almost any normally sized jacket. This one I cant zip up all the way to the top, and there isnt much room for any layers underneath. The lengths fit great, just pretty slim fitting in the chest and neck. Size up if you want some extra room.

The Jetstream is great for cutting wind. I'm 5'11 and 185 lbs and ordered a Large. I wish I had realized the intent of this jacket is to cut the wind with some insulation. This will be a great early season jacket but once it drops below 50, even with the Merino Lightweight it is not enough to keep you warm. Had I known this I probably would have sized up to layer more under the jacket. Overall great quality and perfect for early season between 50-65 degrees with varied under layering.

I hunted 4 days with this jacket in northeastern CT for whitetail in November. Great water resistance, Good amount of pockets and quiet zippers. I like the way the hood fits and the fact that it has pit vents. Only improvement I would suggest is that it have a zipper in the back for a harness lanyard so you can use the hood in the tree stand. Fit is athletic, nice fit and true to size.

I wear this along with the traverse hoodie. Depending on temp and weather, rifle season in Northern PA can see some temp differentials this year with this and the traverse was comfortable sitting in 20 degree temps with wind. Great water proof properties and wind blocking.

Great jacket. Love it BUT the sleeves are just a little shorter than other Sitka large jackets. Large Downpour jacket fits great- large Jetstream- sleeves are about 3/4” shorter. Fits great everywhere else.

Overall, I love the jacket. But the price is a little steep for what you get. It does a pretty good job of blocking wind, but you definitely need layers underneath. Might consider sizing up if you’re going to be using in a lot of very cold weather as you will need a couple layers underneath to be comfortable.

It's a decent jacket overall, functionally it's great but the sizing is odd. I'm Medium in every peice of clothing but the Medium is tight in the chest & shoulder area, when I moved to a large it was oddly still tight in the chest, but the rest of the jacket is to large, like on the sleeves and stomach.

Overall the Jetstream is a great piece of gear. I am 5'11" 180 lbs, and the sleeves are a bit short, this may be strategic but the L size feels a bit tight in general. I purchased online, otherwise I would have tried on an XL for comparison. Either way the L is not too tight for use, and the quality is outstanding.

I used it over a couple insulating layers, and it seemed to do trick, breaking the wind, at my back, as I sat in the deer stand, in 20-30-degree weather. In colder weather, I put on the outer shell of my deer hunting coat, and it was nice, without much bulkiness. 5'7" / 185lbs

Absolutely love the Jetstream jacket. I hunted upland game in MN last weekend in 19 degrees and wind gusts into the 15-20 range and the jacket kept the wind out and me warm. It's great because with upland if you have to wear a large bulky jackets it changes the nature of shouldering your gun and wingshooting. Not with this jacket. Absolutely love it!

5 stars. Purchased the orange / tan model for upland hunting. Pit vent zips are nice for long walks, the jacket does well in brush and briars. I recommend this jacket in 50 - 30 degrees with no other layers. With a base layer , you could go into the single digits.
