Great insulation piece, especially for

Great insulation piece, especially for early fall and spring, when chance of rain can be in forecast as the synthetic aerolite down retains warmth when wet. I also use it as active insulation in cold temps. Not as hot as the Kelvin down but warm enough to keep you toasty while stopping for a break or glassing. Cuts wind really well too.

Best jacket ever

I have found this is my go to jacket. Perfect weight for whatever Montana can dish out for weather. Light, warm, fits great. I now have in four colors! 2 camo and 2 solid for around town. The fit is awesome for me in XXL, at 6 feet 260 pounds, it perfect for my large frame. I wear hunting, skiing, fishing, out and about. It is the perfect go to jacket!

I am 5'11 that weighs

I am 5'11 that weighs anywhere between 210-230 with broad shoulders and a muscular build. Anything smaller than the 3xl would have definitely felt snug up top, but would have been good at the bottom. I don't find the bottom too loose like others have stated. Keeps wind out very well. My only gripe is the zipper. . . it likes to back off a hair when done up fully and can catch your chin or beard hairs. Otherwise no complaints.

Light Weight Warmth

It is incredible how thin and light weight the Kelvin Aerolite jacket is, but what is even more impressive is the consistent warmth it delivers! Warm and packable

This jacket is awesome. It’s super warm and very packable. It compresses nicely. The sleeves taper toward the wrist so using as a layer underneath a waterproof jacket is perfect and not too bulky etc. I purchased a 2XL but it probably should’ve been an XLT. It’s too big in the torso, but the sleeves fit well. All in, great jacket that packs and layers well.

Weight to warmth this is jacket really holds its own. I ran this jacket over two base layers, a fanatic hoodie and under the old school stratus in 14 degree weather and was fine. It’s very noisy if it’s your outer, but isn’t durable enough to go bushwhacking in anyways. Packs away small. If your bow hunting tuck the hood in and you’ll be all set.

Incredibly lightweight and warm

I have prolonged spending so much money on hunting gear for a long time. With the recent sale on the website, I said “meh , why not? Let’s see what all the fuss is about”.
