Warmest jacket

This jacket is the warmest jacket I’ve ever had for the weight. I use it everyday during cold weather and as insulting layer on late season cow hunts. Great buy for someone wanting to buy few pieces that can have multiple use.

What to say? First my slight negative. It is basically a buffer jacket with a hood. With high winds it blows through the stitching. I would definitely wear something a little more wind blocking if you were in high wind areas. Other than that I love it. It is very warm.

INCREDIBLE! The only word to describe this jacket. I use it daily and it will keep you warm in the lowest of temps. It is light enough to pack in your pack for extra warmth when you stop to glass. A must have!!

Perfect all around jacket

This jacket is perfect in every way, very comfortable and versatile. It’s great as an over or under coat and blocks the wind better than I thought it would. I bought a solid color to wear for everyday use. I will be buying another one in the Optifade. Cons hunting season.

Lightweight Warmth

Great jacket. Lightweight, packable and very warm. Fits and works great with the Sitka base and midweight layering systems during extreme cold temperatures. Should do well in the spring transition months here in Montana.

Awesome coat or mid layer

As a professional guide I spend alot of time in the elements. This is a must have garment for me . I am actually going to buy a second one. This is a warm coat that I use as a mid layer and or stand-alone coat. When it rains or snows you just throw a gortex coat over the top. I often wear a vest over or under it, depending on the temps. Sizing is more mid layer sizing , I am 6'1" , 220 and and a large is a great fit.

Kelvin are olive jacket

Out of all the different pieces of Sitka gear that I own, I would have to place the Kelvin arrow light jacket at the top of the heap. This jacket is so superior, it’s really unbelievable. I have worn this jacket in subzero weather and its performance and weight are top notch. I rate this jacket as an indispensable tool for every hunter that hunts in cold weather, outstanding piece of gear.
