Awesome coat or mid layer

As a professional guide I spend alot of time in the elements. This is a must have garment for me . I am actually going to buy a second one. This is a warm coat that I use as a mid layer and or stand-alone coat. When it rains or snows you just throw a gortex coat over the top. I often wear a vest over or under it, depending on the temps. Sizing is more mid layer sizing , I am 6'1" , 220 and and a large is a great fit.

Kelvin Aerolite Jacket

What to say? First my slight negative. It is basically a buffer jacket with a hood. With high winds it blows through the stitching. I would definitely wear something a little more wind blocking if you were in high wind areas. Other than that I love it. It is very warm.

Warmest jacket

Kelvin are olive jacket

Out of all the different pieces of Sitka gear that I own, I would have to place the Kelvin arrow light jacket at the top of the heap. This jacket is so superior, it’s really unbelievable. I have worn this jacket in subzero weather and its performance and weight are top notch. I rate this jacket as an indispensable tool for every hunter that hunts in cold weather, outstanding piece of gear.

Could be 5

Product should be a 5 but I wore it one time and a stick stabbed it and punctured it (smaller than a penny). Wish it was more durable. To fix this it’s going to cost $90 unless I patch it myself! The stitching also came out of the jacket after wearing it one time. Luckily they will cover this under warranty.

Kevin Aerolite Jacket - Wow!!

I love this jacket!! It is extremely lightweight but provides heavy weight warmth from the cold air. Packs up very small and is the perfect outer layer for your layering system. I just went on a Mule Deer Hunt in southeastern Arizona where the morning temps were hovering around 18 degrees. It worked perfectly!

I ordered the large tall

I ordered the large tall in this product replacing an original kelvin lite jacket. Jacket was perfect length in the arms which is always difficult for me to find. Its a little boxy in the body but given the size I think it will be perfect when layering underneath. Haven't had the opportunity to use outside so really just a review on sizing. Seems like a great product and hopefully it lasts as long as my original Kelvin.

Awesome Jacket

I bought this as a late season insulating layer/winter everyday layer. It’s beyond warm. I’m 6’1” 200lbs. Athletic build and an XL fits well. I can easily layer a hooded sweatshirt underneath it and not be bound up. Just a t shirt and it’s a tad loose but not so loose I wouldn’t wear it. Haven’t tried a large so I’m not sure if it would be too small.

Great insulation jacket

From chilly morning shoots in the summer to subzero pursuits in the late season, this jacket performs. Used this as a stand alone glassing jacket in late august as well as an insulation piece sandwiched between the ambient hoody and the jetstream jacket on a subzero mule deer hunt in late November. For the late season whitetail hunter, this jacket traps and returns vital heat, layers well, and makes long, cold sits in December a possibility. After one season this is a favorite, nice work Sitka!
