Bought XL, I am XL in everything. Fits very comfortably and roomy enough for layering. Overall arm and torso length are right size.

I just returned from a 2 week Alaska Moose hunt and wore this jacket every day, it was an absolute essential piece of gear, and I'm so glad I had it. The hunt would have been a lot less enjoyable if I didn't. The windstopper was perfect for mornings on the boat, or 40+ mph Alaska winds, and although the rain got on the outer shell a little bit every day, it never once penetrated into the inner layer or on my clothes beneath. The pockets are higher than normal to use with a backpack on, which I never did, would have preferred normal lower pockets, but not a huge deal. And to me the arms fit slightly tighter than normal, and the torso was slightly roomier than normal, but still worked great and was comfortable. Super happy with this jacket, it's one of my essential pieces of gear now and I'll take it everywhere I go!! Love having the windstopper in this puffy, that's essential for glassing on a high hill, riding the boat on the river, or anything in between. I wore this jacket every day of my hunt and even when hiking through brush it was tough, durable, breathable, and perfect for the application I used it for! Would highly recommend.

Solid jacket!

This Kelvin Pro Hooded Jacket is another example of solid Sitka design and construction. The attention to small details, even down to the zippers and pocket openings, clearly shows that Sitka put in serious R&D !! Just trying this jacket on I got hot fast! I’m looking forward to colder weather and seeing its full performance!

This was the exact coat

This was the exact coat I’d been searching for over the past two years. I’ve had the Kelvin AeroLite jacket for years, but it struggled in heavy wind. I was planning on adding a Jetstream to my pack to take care of the wind, but now I don’t need to. Adding the Kelvin Pro let me add a windstopper layer without adding the weight of an additional jacket.

5’11 160-170 pounds

Medium fits me pretty good I’d say. About the perfect length on the torso but the sleeves are definitely a little short. It’s a 5⭐️ for me because I prefer shorter sleeves. The jackets warm and blocks wind better than any jacket that’s not a (rain jacket). It’s definitely not a backpackers dream lightweight down coat. But it’s the perfect all around coat for warmth windblock and if you’re anything like me I’d sacrifice weight and space for something like this Sitka coat.

Blistering warm

Everything about this jacket build is warm. Seems solid. The face fabric is fairly loud, though, making it less suitable for hunting and more for ice fishing, etc.

This jacket is warm, lightweight and extremely comfortable. I am starting to miss where all the XLT sizes are going. Very limited options of products in XLT. My Kelvin Aerolite jacket is a better fit for us taller guys.

This is my go to waterfowl jacket.

My new winter coat!

I only wear coats in the winter that are windproof and have primaloft insulation. The Kelvin pro checks both boxes. I dislike coats that are heavy and bulky. The Kelvin pro is light weight without the bulk and room for a hoody underneath. I wear a large in most everything. The Kelvin pro true to size. It’s going to be my go to this winter.

Nice but bulky

As you know, Sitka is Sit-snug normally and I am in between sizes based on the use of the item. I order a Large for a underlayer and XL for outside layer if I am planning on layering underneath. I ordered an XL in this jacket and it absolutely swallowed me. This item runs large and is intended to be an outer layer piece (i do not see a scenario where this could be a mid layer). The face seems durable enough and there is noticeable bulk in insulation, i am sure this would be warm but not packable whatsoever. Ultimately i sent this back to search for a less bulky option for layering. This is not your normal Sitka cut, fits more like a parka. 5'10 230
