Awesome how something so light can block the wind like it does. Played a huge role in my Colorado Elk hunt last year.

This jacket performed exactly as expected. I hunt both western and eastern Oregon, and used this jacket in both environments. This was the perfect shell layer over the top of an Apex Hoody to keep you warm enough in the crisp mornings at 6200 feet and enough to keep the coastal wind off of you hunting Roosevelts. The best part is during mid day or a hike our of a canyon it packs very light. Allowing you to stow it away without taking up too much room in your pack. This jacket is a bowhunters dream, though, I would likely go with something heavier for late season rifle hunts.

Excellent windbreaker. As others have said It isn't that warm by itself but is a great shell to put over insulating layers. It is lightweight enough to have along when a softshell may otherwise be left behind. It's much quieter than my rain gear so it fits well in my layering system. I buy a size up in everything Sitka I might layer under and this was no exception. It fits just right.

If your looking for a coat that is appropriate in all types of weather this is a jacket worth keeping in your pack at all times! While its not completely water proof it takes alot to actually soak through and it is made up by its ability to keep the bitter cold wind out! Ive been in scenarios where it was supposed to be nice weather but quickly went south, and this jacket has been through it all. While I was cold, I was never uncomfortable definitely worth every penny.

Awesome jacket, very high quality as expected from Sitka. This jacket it really light weight but does an amazing job at breaking wind which is the sole reason I got it! Would highly recommend to anyone who hunts in cooler conditions.

First off, great product! There is no doubt or question as to the quality of this jacket from the moment you pull it out of the box. It keeps you warm in windy and cool conditions and stretches to fit over layers when you want to layer up in colder temperatures. Just as a clarification, however, this jacket is more of a light/midweight windbreaker rather then an insulated jacket. Because of this, it tends to be a little noisy. It may quiet down after a few washes and some wear though. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who commonly hunts in cool, windy conditions.

Awesome jacket???? I was skeptical at first because of how thin the material felt. I wore this during the archery hunt, and the muzzloader hunt. It performs flawlessly. We got our first snow out here in Utah last night and it was a cold windy bugger today, I threw my coat on and was surprised how much it breaks the wind and the cold chill. Thanks again Sitka I am sold forever
