Did not like the straps,

Did not like the straps, no padding and there is so much extra fabric on the straps that they become a pain to adjust. Actual compartment for the binoculars is sturdy and well made though.

Easy on, easy off, easy to wear, easy to use

Used this on a 5 day backcountry elk hunt in Colorado, had a lot of variable weather that required adding subtracting layers - the mountain optics harness was very easy to slip on and off. I didn't notice I even had it on most of time, it was out of the way wearing a backpack, and was quiet and easy to access for binos, walkie talkie, and reed calls. As with other Sitka gear, it was well designed, quiet, and high quality.

Ready for the field test

The harness appears to be very well made and fits good. The nylon straps are strong and stitched in very well. Western mule deer hunt in November will give it a good test.

Good harness, wanted something to fit closer to my body especially when crawling those last few yards of a stalk. Rides more like a chest rig than straps with a pouch like I’ve seen with so many others. Only drawback is the side pouch is a little too shallow for my large screen iPhone, range finder fits perfectly

Have one of these for myself. Liked it so much purchase this one for my son looking forward to using it this fall on his first hunting trip.

Good but needs a little work

Straps bite a little need to be wider possibley, compartment can let the weather in a little more than expected.

Only problem is the straps can dig into your neck if your are not wearing a shirt to cover your neck

I like the fit of this harness and the side pouches. The lids/tops of the side pouches are a little small and don't really cover the pouch well. So if you have items in thee, the weather will get them.

Purchased this over the Flash. Only gripe is wishing the straps throughout the shoulders were a little thicker/more padding. Otherwise, excellent bino harness. Holds as snug or as loose as you’d like it and very quiet.

This binocular harness is awesome. The additional two smaller pockets are excellent for quick access to calls, range finders and whatever else you can think of. I wore it in a storm as well and it kept everything dry which I thought was awesome. An expensive piece for what it is but worth the cash in my opinion

Great accessory pack

Big fan of the pocketing, the clasps are quiet and quick to get on and off. Love having range finder, binos, and right in front of me and not behind zippers. Main complaints are strap tags will not stay rolled up and are excessively long, harness is also a bit of a hassle to get on and off when delayering

Harness fits good. Very comfortable

Harness fits good. Very comfortable and light weight. Only thing I think could be improved would be the way the side pockets close. It would be nice if they were a little more secured. Running or jogging around in it while hunting it can come lose a bit. Overall great way to keep my important gear close and handy when I need it.

Great modular, minimalist harness with quiet opening and closing pouches.

needs a little thought into the construction

not a bad setup if you have 10x40 binos, don't upgrade to larger though, won't be able to close pouch. The cross straps need some revision thought as well, the thin straps dig into shoulders some, had to get some strap covers to put on shoulders to make it a little wider: Sitka, you should think about making detachable bino cases in different sizes if you want people to continue with your harness, I had to go to another brand after so upgraded binos. . . .
