Mountain Optics Harness Reviews

Bino harness

Everything really functions well with this rig. I have a kenai chest holster and was a little hesisitant about it working with the harness. I have had no issue due to the abundance of adjustments. I really like all the holders and tge attention to detail for functionality. Great overall unit.

Great chest rig - very handy

I’ve been shooting archery regularly with this on for a month or two now. Even with a jacket or hoodie on, it doesn’t interfere with my draw cycle whatsoever. I also like the adjustability. I’ve experimented with high on my chest and lower towards mid abdomen. It’s quiet too - I can open my range finder pouch or get out my binos with zero drama and very little to no noise.

Best harness around!

Very comfortable to wear all day in the field!

My binos and rangefinder fit

My binos and rangefinder fit perfectly. Also the pouches are very easy to access

Love everything about this brand

Everything I've purchased from sitka has impressed me. I'm hard on my gear and so far sitka products have handled the abuse. Top notch sitka....top notch!!

A little bulky

The straps on these are great and keep the optics positioned well, however it is just a bit bulky for me moving around.

Quality!

Mountain Optics Harness

Bought this after whitetail season and have only used it for shed hunting this far, without the small compartments attached. It is comfortable, easy to access binos and I can tell that during the season, it is going to eliminate the need for a pack on a morning or evening sit. Great harness this far.

Haven’t really used it yet

Haven’t really used it yet but tried it on and adjusted the size and very happy with it so far

Awesome optics harness

This harness is perfect for my needs and actually fits. It is also durable and made of a great material. It also has the added room I need for my other gadgets and snacks. One can never forget snacks while hunting.

Great vest!

It has all the components I need for Turkey hunting. Definitely Recommend it.

Bino Harness for the win

It's great quality and holds all the essentials if you get separated from your pack. It is really comfortable and perfect for the western bowhunter.

Bino harness

Gonna be perfect for this archery season

More than for just optics.

This is a great harness for my binoculars. I also fit many other items into the harness depending on the game and temperature that I am purusing,

Perfect size and lightweight

Great pack. Perfect in size and scalability. Lightweight and easy to adjust.

Impressed

The quality of this harness is top notch. I haven’t been able to use it in the field but looking forward to it. It holds all of equipment very well. It’s very comfortable and fits nice!

Good harness

I bought this to use as a lightweight run and gun Turkey rig in the spring and a great piece of scouting equipment for ducks in the fall. So far it has held up to my expectations. I like how the harness is rigid enough that I can rest my arms on the wing pockets.

Excellent addition

Perfect fit for binos and range finder. Plenty room for phone and other smaller items as well.

very handy piece. makes handling items much easier.

Binoculars harness

So cute fit great

Awesome fit

Moved over from a vortex. Much lighter and easier to use. Zero noise!

Plenty of Room

Lots of space for your kit in this system. Great value.

Great Harness

Fit my 10x52 no problem. Smaller pocket packs for snacks, gloves or whatever you desire. Rugged construction. Works well with Mountain Hauler packs or Tool belt option.

Fits well

Fits well and has room for everything you don’t want o fumble around to find

very good

I now have 2 of them in different patterns. I like them a lot. They fit my 12x50 Leupold binos snugly and also my Leupold rangefinder.

Great addition to my setup

Took some getting used to but now I always wear it during archery season. Binoculars fit in the center pocket however I think any lens over 45mm would be difficult to make fit. The two side pockets are great for a range finder and cell phone. Only issue I found is the hard mold for the pockets can be a bit noise if you let the binoculars or phone drop into the pocket but that’s it.

Love it so compact and

Love it so compact and carries everything I need it to.

Great Harness

Very impressed with this bio harness. Fits body very well and is comfy. Side pouches are very large, big enough to fit a stealth cam trail camera, but are not easily opened with one hand. Main pouch should be bigger as my Viper 10x50's barley fit height wise, with the eye cups down. Overall all very well designed aside from the dimensions of the bino pocket. Many useful features and pockets.

Good piece of gear

Good fit. Light weight. Easy to access compartments.

Comfortable Space

I have had an Alaska Hard Gear Harness for 4 years and I loved that harness but I never had enough space for my binos and range finder in the big pocket it had so I either had to stuff them both in to it tightly or pick a different pocket that I wasn't comfortable with for my range finder. This harness is light weight and comfortable and I have pockets for everything I need right on my chest. Looking forward to spending my hunting season here in Alaska with this new Sitka Optics Harness.

Good and perfect amount of

Good and perfect amount of adjustability and it stays cool. Holds binos well. Magnets that hold up Biko flap are well designed. Just to top it all off the lense cleaning cloth is an amazing touch

Best hunting item hands down!

Great product; I'm not a small guy and the unit is flexible enough to easily allow for the fit I desire.

Great Option

I have used the bino harness for the last month of deer season and it's a big upgrade from my old one. Easy to adjust, lightweight and plenty of storage .

Excellent

Everything it’s advertised to be.

Best bino harness I've owned

I've been waiting to justify buying another bino harness as the two I have both were functional, but neither performed to what I was hoping. This one hits all the marks from fit to function and storage for rangefinder and GPS when I decide to carry all 3. I should have made the switch long ago! From the backwoods of Maine to the western mountains- I am very pleased with this.

Bino Harness doesn't fit my 12x50's or Smart Phone

Got these as a present. Doesn't fit my Bushnell 12x50s, and the side pockets doesn't fit my Smart Phone or Garmin Alpha 100. The unsecured pocket behind the binos doesn't hold your phone comfortably. Going to return these as they only offer OSFA that doesn't fit. The harness strap system is otherwise good and it would suit someone who has small gear, not ideal for decent sized gear.

Quality product , fits well

Quality product , fits well and the magnet top is super handy.

Well thought out. The design

Well thought out. The design permits the consolidation of Binos, range finder and assorted other items. Another excellent Sitka design.

Fits very well

Very nice snug fit. Plenty of ways to adjust it perfectly to your body shape. Does not feel big/bulky at all. I kinda wish the bino flap also covered the sides to better help keep out dust in really windy environments. Other than that, it’s top notch

Works great and no complainants

Works great and no complainants

Pretty awesome!

As a bigger guy 6’6” 300lbs the fit surprisingly works for me very adjustable and I still have a little room for some layering, the adjustment is very easy to do and easy to take on and off. As for the functionality of the harness the magnetic flap for the binos is awesome just fold it up and it stays out of the way, it also has a microfiber cloth attached to the inside of the place you put your binos for easy cleaning . It has 2 removable pouches, I use one for a rangefinder the other just for miscellaneous small items. Overall great product.

I found that the horizontal

I found that the horizontal strap that goes around your chest is short if you’re a bigger individual.

Fits good and holds all

Fits good and holds all the things I need

Happy with it.. few changes

Upgraded from my basic strap harness to this to keep optics safe and dry... Worth the price on sale for sure.. Thought out features like the magnets in the binos flap to hold flap tight to harness and put of the way. Fits well... a little cumbersome to get on with the shoulder straps that move within themselves. Wish straps were a little wider for better comfort wearing light clothing early season. Covers over top of the side pouches are round and pouches themselves are square so lids don't fit perfectly unless u take the time to push them down around the squared off edges and they don't stay there reliability when moving. That being said.. I am satisfied with my purchase and will hopefully use it for many seasons to come.

Decent

I love all Sitka gear. This item is good.

Handy Bino carrier

Seems well built, not had a chance to use in the field, like the fact the two side pockets are removable, fit well! Easy to put on.
