Love these pants. Comfortable to wear and tough through brush and other pokey areas. Worked great for above timberline walking through thick brush.

Sitka pursuit pant review

After buying a pair of Sitka timberline pants i knew Sitka was in a league of their own, I wanted a pair of Sitka early season pants but was unsure what to buy. This summer when Sitka rolled out the new pursuit pants I had to have them, and man did they deliver another 5 star pair of pants to my hunting arsenal, if you are looking for a early season pair of hunting pants you can’t go wrong with the pursuit

Great fit and inseam for us shorter guys. Will be paired with my fanatic hoodie for early season hunting. Comfortable and the fabric has a bit of a stretch for climbing stands.

Great all round pant. Similar

Great all round pant. Similar to the traverse pant except the Pursuit has the side vents which will be nice during early-season hunts. I am 6'2" 205lbs and usually wear a 34 or 36" waist. I ordered a 36 and it fits well. Perfect length and the waist is snug but not tight. I always wear a belt so I prefer my pants a little bit looser.

Paid for 2 day shipping/ no product

Products are great. Needed em for an early elk hunt. Paid $25 for two day shipping and they showed up about 10 days later. No email from Sitka or anything. Same thing happened to my friend. Disappointed for sure.

Tarifs Duties? no thanks

Last order for Sitka for me, as Canadian. The taxes and duty COD bill were as much as pant!! Surprise! . Too bad, good stuff, my Delta zip waders are incredible

Pursuit Pants

These pants are outstanding. Lightweight yet they feel sturdy enough to survive the field. Will be perfect for both South Texas fall hunting and mountain hunting with a base layer.

Good Pants

The material is durable and feels slick so it wont snag. The zipper pully on the fly needs to be up and above the button or it will start creeping down. I wish the hip vents had mesh. The fit around the hips is a little snug. After wearing them a few hours, they seemed to break in. These are not a replacement of the Ascent pants. Honestly, Sitka needs to bring back the Ascent pant, no changes to fit, and add hip vents. I'd buy a few of those.

Almost a great pant.

I liked everything about these pants until I opened the hip vents. The vents opened wide and certainly allow great airflow - because they are just great big holes. There is no mesh material in the vents. Trash, debris, bugs (ticks) can all come right in, not to mention your boxers and everything else is exposed to the world. I would have preferred it if they had a higher rise. I returned them.

Do it all pant with water resistance

These pants crush for all conditions. Breathable, mobile, just legit.

Pursuit Pant--another great addition

I have more Sitka Gear than reasonably necessary. In spite of that, I bought the Pursuit Pants and very happy with the addition. The are lighter than the Intercept Pant and perfect for early season outings. "Two Thumbs Up"

Nailed it

Fantastic feel and a great fit on me. Still not a quiet as the equinox guard pants but way more quiet than the new guard pants. (The new Guard pants are like wearing a lawn tarp covered in bubble wrap) All in all I'm very happy and ordered more colors already. The heat dump zips are open to the bare leg which is different but I kinda like it.

Just needs sleeves for knee pads

Sitka finally got the side vents, finally added a back pocket, just forgot provisions for knee pads. Almost perfect. Fit is great and so far I like the fabric.

Little tight but will work. Usually between a 34x34 and 36x34 and got these in a 34T. Next pair will be 36T. Great feel to them

Run a bit small and seem to be more low rise

The material is nice and I love the added hip vents but I had to return due to the low rise waist putting the boiz in a strangle hold. The size runs much tighter in the hips and waist than other pants in the same size. Unfortunately, I think this is the first Sitka item I’ve had to turn away. I ordered 34T

Just ok

Definitely a lightweight pant. Material feels comfortable. Hip vents dont have a mesh material on the inside so your boxers are exposed to the world. Big miss on that design. Also the crotch area is tight. The waist is true to size.

Great but!

I love Sitka gear and would buy more, but I am short legged and can have them shortened because of the leg zippers. Using gators is difficult because the gators are very difficult to put on due to the bulk of the pants and the size of the gators.

why did you quit making 32T

Why did you quit making 32T, has you customer base changed? Sitka always used to make this size for the common tall thin mountain hunter they originally designed clothing for. . . . now I have to go to First Lite, Argali or Outdoor Vitals for a 32x34 pant
