We’ve had 90+ degree days with the dew point at 78. This hoodie has saved my life this week, really great at keeping the smells off and drying instantly! Amazing piece of gear for the long hot days.

Best sun shirt on the market! Super lightweight, extremely breathable and very comfortable. I ordered a size large and it fit perfect. Will definitely be purchasing a couple more.

Bought 2 initially, since then I have bought several, multiple of most the colors. Amazing work short if you're out in the sun all day. Super breathable and keeps the sun off of your skin.

**SIZING INFO IN REVIEW** Awesome Hoodie

Zero complaints. This thing is the real deal. I wanted to write some notes about sizing because that was the thing I found most difficult deciding. I am 5’ 11”, 175lbs lean, athletic build. In all my jackets, t-shirts etc from Sitka I wear a Large, but in this case I went with a Medium and I am happy that I did. I am generally wearing this hoodie with nothing more than a T Shirt underneath, making the medium a nice (albeit slim) fit. If you are any bigger than I am, want to wear something more than a t-shirt underneath it, or prefer a longer looser fit I suggest sizing up to a large. I could wear either size and it would be fine I would guess, but for me the medium was perfect, with no real room to spare.

Good shirt weird sizing

Not sure if it was just the one i got but I ordered my typical size large (I'm 5'10" 155lbs) it was HUGE. I had to return it for a medium which wasn't an issue and that one fit great. I never wear mediums in shirts. The hoodie is awesome otherwise I love the feel and functionality. Great for fishing.

I love this shirt. I think the shirt runs slightly big, so I went with a medium and it fits great.

A day on the boat approved

Simple yet technical, made with quality. Keeps the sun off as much as possible and lets the breeze thru. Wet and sweat evaporates quickly. Usually not a white shirt wearing person as I tend to destroy/ stain em up nicely but white has the highest sun reflection qualities; so i wouldn’t worry about a muddy sleeve or a bloody fish slap. Thats part of the fun right

Super comfortable and lightweight

Wore my sun hoody for the first time last week. This will now be my go to for all my summer fishing. Forget t-shirts. Love the extra coverage from the sun and the breathability on hot days. Might have to purchase another for multiday fishing trips as it had made everything else I used to wear obsolete.

Great Summer Wear!

I have worn sun hoodies from other brands and was not impressed, but Sitka has a home run here. Sitka Sun Hoodies are light and shed perspiration quickly. I bought a couple of these to wear while i mow or do outside summer chores, but i like them so much I have worn them out on date nights with my wife and even to the office a couple times. I am now ordering more of these. I'm a fan!

Lightweight and comfortable

I bought this to wear at the lake. I love having the hood instead of wearing a hat to cover my face and ears. First wear was great. I wore it all weekend, in the sun and water for three days. It kept me cool in the heat and dried quickly. The thumb loops to keep the sleeves in place worked great while swimming and floating. The only slight negative is even though it is ivory, it is still fairly see through when it is wet. Not a big deal though. I would definitely recommend.

Does t clean

The shirt was awesome for the sun, however after a day floating the river with kids the dirt marks will not wash out. Tried soaking it in a special cleaner and that didn’t remove the dirt stains either, really bummed because the shirt looks dirty now after wearing it 1 time.

This sun hoodie is excellent, lightweight, breathable, and gives great sun protection. Its similar to the equinox guard hoodie which is also great.

Great feel and extremely lightweight. Does run a little on the small side. Typically I am an XL had to return and go to XXL.

I have used this hoodie a number of times fly fishing here in NM. It is lightweight, surprisingly warm. Does an excellent job with the SPF rating and the sizing is true to fit. Great job as always Sitka !!
