These are comfortable , good

These are comfortable , good fitting shoes once you get them on. Unfortunately I have broke one shoe horn in the process trying to get these shoes on my feet. It is very frustrating to have a good pair of shoes that can't be worn. I have all but destroyed the neoprene uppers trying to get these shoes on. I wear size 10. 5 and ordered a size 11. Someone who is a little older or out of shape would have a very hard time getting these shoes on. It is too bad because once you get them on they are a 4 Star product.

Initial review

Material & soles are fantastic which is what you expect from Sitka. Once the are on, I can wear them all day long! Only slight adjustment I would like to see for future models is that the opening is widened making them easier to put on - in my opinion, it’s a struggle to get them on

Not up to Sitka standards

These shoes look nice but that is where it ends. They are incredibly difficult to get your foot into and once you eventually do get them on, the footbed is almost completely flat. They are very uncomfortable. This is my first bad experience with any piece of Sitka Gear. All the other gear has been exceptional in every way.

Loved the look and feel. Way too lose around the ankles

I really wanted to like these boots, but ultimately they were just too loose around the ankles and the heels, even though the length was right. There’s just no way to cinch them up and make them right so your feet have to be perfectly built for these boots, or there’s no way to make them work.

Love these boots but….

Absolutely love my boots but almost have to just wear another pair of boots because I literally could not get these boots on due to the opening being WAY to tight. I have almost sent them back but love them so much once there on that I did not send back. I had planned to get a second pair in the darker color but decided to wait and hope that hopefully Sitka will redo the opening to allow MUCH easier on/off. Thank you-Tom

Comfortable if you can get them on

Should have paid attention to other reviews. They're so difficult to get on I've only even wore them twice. Very disappointed because, like I said, once they're on they are pretty comfortable. They need to soften up the material around ankle or put in a zipper. I really don't understand any positive reviews on these and I'm very high on Sitka products. . . customer care and service not so much but their products are usually first rate.

Great Boot

Great boots!

I would call this boot fully defective. It is far too tight to put on. I bought the leather version of this and it was normal to put on. This one required a comical amount of effort to get my foot in. I thought wearing a few days would help. Nope.

Run big. Need half sizes

I wear a size 10. I ordered a 10 and they were way too big. Ordered a 9 and they’re way too small. They’re awesome shoes for rainy days and setting up early season dekes. I just wear a heavier sock with the size 10.

To shoe is tight to put on with the neoprene top but once it is on it feels great and very comfortable. I have worn them during the morning with lots of dew n the grass and my feet stayed dry. Great option to tall boots.

Great until straps started falling apart

Love the shoes for everyday wear in and around the house. Perfect for mild weather walking to stand and can layer thicker sock for colder weather. I bought these as soon as they came out and have been happy until a couple weeks ago. I’ve worn them probably 3 or 4 days a week now. The front and back straps at the opening started coming loose and ripped off on my left shoe. The right shoe straps seem to be coming loose from the stitching as well now. Is this potentially a warranty claim?

Rover boots

They’re ok if you add insoles

Was excited to wear these when we go off-roading in our Polaris in dust, dirt, trails, mud etc. Sitka claims they are waterproof, they are not. At all. Also as other have mentioned, there is zero insole support or comfort. I took a pair of insoles out of some old work boots and they are much better. I’d say these boots are just ok. Wouldn’t pay $125+ for them again

Poor fit

The right shoe is slightly

The right shoe is slightly looser than the left, but over all fit is good and snug. Slightly hard to get in the first few times but after wearing them and break in, it’s easy to get them on now.

Rover GTX

These are not very comfortable and seem to run a bit big. I wear an 11 1/2 and bought the 11 since they were whole sizes and it’s still pretty big. Also the neck is very tight and takes a lot of work to get on your feet.

Good for walking the dog in the rain

Good looking shoe but uncomfortable

I purchased this shoe with the intention of replacing the wear of an xtra-tuff. The shoe itself is nice, durable, waterproof and lightweight BUT the shoe is a pain in the butt to get on. Once the shoe is on, the top of it rub the back of my ankle like crazy even with calf socks on. If they would remove the top or make it more open to not rub, I think it would outdo the xtra-tuff.

Quality Boot

This is a great casual boot. Great for around the house, running to the store, leisure stroll around the property. I have no issue with getting on or off, as many of the reviews state. I can see where someone may have that issue if they have wide feet, or big angles. The boot definitely needs to break in before becoming comfortable. If you are someone with fat feet, fat ankles and need a workhorse boot this is not it.

Give them a chance !. Awesome boots

At first I wasnt sure with the first pair I bought. But after using them a couple time they kinda breakin. At the beginning they were kinda hard, I think a slightly more comfortable interior sole would help have a better first feeling of the boots. Right now they are literally my go to shoes even in winter ! Thats why i bought a 2nd pair. Also would love some half-size.
