Solid boots

I use these for pre season camera setting in central Oregon. They keep my feet dry and happy would recommend to anyone!

Not what I was thinking

I thought these would be more of a “slip on” style boot. I think the quality is there but definitely not very comfortable.

Rover Gore-Tex short Boots

Recently received these boots and already have utilized them around my home and elsewhere. They are very comfortable, fit perfectly and protect my feet in these muddy and snowy days of winter.

The top is to tight it's hard to get your foot in and it rubs against the top of your ankle. It also runs super narrow, a sad miss after hitting the ventlite out of the park.

Very good boot just run a bit narrow and small. I should have went up one size

Great shoes and a great purchase!

I bought these for wet or snowy weather! Extremely satisfied with my purchase! I have Sitka rain gear, fleece orange vest and jacket, fleece camouflage jacket and pants. Expensive but worth every penny!

I got these for my dad for Christmas and these are his go to shoes. He said they are so comfortable, easy to clean, and has already bought another pair! 10/10

Best Boots I've Ever Owned

These boots are light, waterproof, and great looking. Perfect for shoveling snow or wearing out to dinner in the winter.

Top part way too tight

They are comfortable but the top band is so tight that you have to struggle to get them on and they don’t slip off so easily

NOPE

I wanted to like these as a replacement to my Muck boots. Runs narrow and very very stiff.

Needed 1/2 sizes

Great stylish boot, sadly needed a 9 1/2 size for my husband, size 9 was too small size 10 was too big. They need to make this in 1/2 sizes too.

A little tight getting on

A little tight getting on but they have plenty of room once on. Holding up very nicely I’ve had these about 6 months and wear every day

They’re ok if you add insoles

Was excited to wear these when we go off-roading in our Polaris in dust, dirt, trails, mud etc. Sitka claims they are waterproof, they are not. At all. Also as other have mentioned, there is zero insole support or comfort. I took a pair of insoles out of some old work boots and they are much better. I’d say these boots are just ok. Wouldn’t pay $125+ for them again

Great ice traction, somehow mud and dirt just falls off the cloth. Not warm and hard to get on and off, but I wear em any day it's gonna be nasty outside for work.

I like the shoes, but they are very hard to get on. They are just very, very tight sliding through the hole.

Great versatile shoe

I bought this for travelling, hiking, and being a quick shoe to put on around the house. I enjoy it, I'm glad it is as tall as it is. Would definitely buy another pair.

Not up to Sitka standards

These shoes look nice but that is where it ends. They are incredibly difficult to get your foot into and once you eventually do get them on, the footbed is almost completely flat. They are very uncomfortable. This is my first bad experience with any piece of Sitka Gear. All the other gear has been exceptional in every way.

These are not very comfortable and seem to run a bit big. I wear an 11 1/2 and bought the 11 since they were whole sizes and it’s still pretty big. Also the neck is very tight and takes a lot of work to get on your feet.

These boots are awesome! Comfortable and light. I bought these to wear in the log yard this spring and for cruising timber. They have kept my feet warm when the temps are under 30 with wool socks and comfy when the temps are almost 50. I will be buying these again

Good looking shoe but uncomfortable

I purchased this shoe with the intention of replacing the wear of an xtra-tuff. The shoe itself is nice, durable, waterproof and lightweight BUT the shoe is a pain in the butt to get on. Once the shoe is on, the top of it rub the back of my ankle like crazy even with calf socks on. If they would remove the top or make it more open to not rub, I think it would outdo the xtra-tuff.

Extremely uncomfortable

I have lots of Sitka gear and love it all. However these Rover boots have been a major disappointment. For one, they are hard to get on because the ankle hole is so tight. Secondly the ankle area is so tight it destroyed the back of my ankles in just 5 min of walking. I have tried 3 diff times now and the same thing each time. It’s not even blisters, it’s like actual cutting into my leg. I wore them yesterday and besides the cuts they produced I have a painful line on the back of my foot where the top of the boot was way too tight. Majorly bummed by these.

Quality Boot

This is a great casual boot. Great for around the house, running to the store, leisure stroll around the property. I have no issue with getting on or off, as many of the reviews state. I can see where someone may have that issue if they have wide feet, or big angles. The boot definitely needs to break in before becoming comfortable. If you are someone with fat feet, fat ankles and need a workhorse boot this is not it.

At first I wasnt sure with the first pair I bought. But after using them a couple time they kinda breakin. At the beginning they were kinda hard, I think a slightly more comfortable interior sole would help have a better first feeling of the boots.   Right now they are literally my go to shoes even in winter ! Thats why i bought a 2nd pair. Also would love some half-size.

Great until straps started falling apart

Love the shoes for everyday wear in and around the house. Perfect for mild weather walking to stand and can layer thicker sock for colder weather. I bought these as soon as they came out and have been happy until a couple weeks ago. I’ve worn them probably 3 or 4 days a week now. The front and back straps at the opening started coming loose and ripped off on my left shoe. The right shoe straps seem to be coming loose from the stitching as well now. Is this potentially a warranty claim?

Looks great but comfort could be improved

The neoprene around the ankles are too damn small and built like theyre meant for a child. Im a size 8. 5 and got size 9s and struggle to even get them on.

Could not even get the boots on. Opening is too narrow.

Not completely happy

Shoes are nice, look good. Comfort rating about 5 out of 10. If you wear them with low socks, the collar around the top of the shoe will rub blisters. I got size 10, I wear a 10. 5 and the are loose.

These are great I use them for early season bow hunting. Fit good light weight. I’d recommend.

Extremely uncomfortable, the back of the boot will have the top of your achilles tendon rubbed raw in less than a hour of walking.

They r ok

I do not have wide feet and a standard shoe size of 10. 5 these fit well when on but take some effort to slip on , definitely a two handed sitting down kinda thing . But once on they are comfortable (I use after market insoles) and waterproof. The cuff at top I could see causing chafing if u used all day although I have not had issue yet but for short stints around camp or walking dogs they have been perfect. I would recommend but as above these are not slip in slip out cover lots of distance kinda shoe.

Fit is funky

I ordered these in my normal size, 11, and they were way too big. Sent them in for the next size smaller and the length was good but they were super narrow, and I don't have wide feet. Very disappointing since I was looking forward to these.

I really enjoy these boots just haven't found a specific use for them yet. They are not something I would hike in all day but have been useful for working after a rain. wish they came in a half size. 11 was to small and 12 to big. I always have to wear thick socks to make them fit better.

Boot Review

I have a ton of Sitka and love the clothing. . . and was really looking forward to getting these boots for fishing and just wearing in the fall and winter. I was highly dissapointed in them. there is zero support in the bottoms of these(Like ZERO) and are just not comfortable at all. i wore them out an evening and fishing all day yesterday and they just are not good in any way shape or form other than the Gore Tex. I have wider feet and my feet still hurt from wearing them all day on the boat yesterday. (not their fault on that). Just the Zero support throughout the whole shoe and the thinness of the material with zero cushion on the sides(my feet where froze when they got off the water) I hope they redo these and make improvements because these are not up the par with the clothing or the brand . . . . . . I'm not sure how anyone says these are comfortable at all. The slip on part alot are complaining is a little tuff to get your foot into but not having to tie or lace up makes it ok to me, but also leaves room for your feet to slide around a bit inside which can only be expected. Please improve on these as they could be a great boot!
