They r ok

I do not have wide feet and a standard shoe size of 10. 5 these fit well when on but take some effort to slip on , definitely a two handed sitting down kinda thing . But once on they are comfortable (I use after market insoles) and waterproof. The cuff at top I could see causing chafing if u used all day although I have not had issue yet but for short stints around camp or walking dogs they have been perfect. I would recommend but as above these are not slip in slip out cover lots of distance kinda shoe.

Looks great but comfort could be improved

The neoprene around the ankles are too damn small and built like theyre meant for a child. Im a size 8. 5 and got size 9s and struggle to even get them on.

good boot

I really enjoy these boots just haven't found a specific use for them yet. They are not something I would hike in all day but have been useful for working after a rain. wish they came in a half size. 11 was to small and 12 to big. I always have to wear thick socks to make them fit better.

Great boots!

I upgraded to these as a quick slip on boot for taking dogs out in the morning and avoiding the wet dew on the grass. I wore these 5 days straight for waterfowl hunting in 20_50 degrees and they performed perfectly. I was very pleased with these boots and will probably order a spare pair

Great idea

I purchased these to wear in the truck on the way to hunts. I find them a little hard to slip on, but are very comfortable when they are on. I wear a 9. 5 and ordered the 10. I would suggest you size down on this one unless you wear thick socks. I would buy again.

Fit is funky

I ordered these in my normal size, 11, and they were way too big. Sent them in for the next size smaller and the length was good but they were super narrow, and I don't have wide feet. Very disappointing since I was looking forward to these.

Extremely uncomfortable, the back of the boot will have the top of your achilles tendon rubbed raw in less than a hour of walking.

Great waterproof boot

These boots are nice for what they’re for. Feel is a little underwhelming but that’s what you get with such a lightweight boot. Wore them in the pouring rain for 2 hours and my feet stayed dry. Love the boots, wish the feel on foot was a little better.

Hard to get on, but comfy and great looking

I went for the Gore-Tex version of the boot since reviews on the leather version mentioned difficulty to get on. Well. . these are difficult to get on as well. I do have a slightly higher than normal instep, so that likely contributes to the struggle. Once my foot is firmly planted inside then they do fit well. Arch support is lacking, but a $12 pair of rigid arch support orthotics easily fixed that. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Concept: 10 Execution: 3

The concept is great. They’re very light, and the foot is comfortable but the ankle is awful. Weird heel “pads” jabbing into you, extremely rigid and tight ankle. Not sure you could break these in enough to fix the problem. This is the first item I haven’t absolutely loved from Sitka, hopefully these improve on the next round of design.

Sitka quality throughout with one issue

Just wore these boats for the first time a couple days this last weekend. Very comfortable, lightweight and great for muddy, wet terrain and parking lots. I will typically wear these boots before and after the hunt; after taking off my waders. They are extremely difficult to put on however and a quite a labor. I hope that the neoprene will stretch out over time. In the meanwhile, I would strongly suggest you carry a shoe horn.

Ankle Too Tight

Something not talked about enough for these boots is the ankle HURTS! Bought these as a pair of boots to wear to work and I wear them 10+ hours a day and the first week was horrible. They do break in a little bit the ankle needs work bad. Never worn a pair of deck boots like these that rubbed the back of my Achilles the way these do. All that being said comfort and durability for the sole is unmatched.

They are great but there’s this one thing you can’t get past

Love these shoes look great feel great. Wish they had a wide option for us fat feet people. But the back absolutely shreds your heal like no other!! Had to cut a slit in the back to let my heal free and they are much better. Shouldn’t have to cut a $175 pair of boots to make em even wearable tho.

Great product

After doing my research and looking at reviews I finally decided to give these a try. I'm on week one and love them so far. Don't let all the negative comments steer you away. They are a little hard to get on and will rub the back of your ankle but as long as you wear long socks your good. They are comfortable and super light and have a thick bottom which helps me with comfort when climbing my sticks for my saddle setup.

Great boot, even better customer service

I read some of the reviews before I purchased and a review mentioned that the boot was challenging to get on and off. I found the pull tabs made putting on the boot simple. After a week of wearing the boots, one of the pull tabs broke. Sitka customer service took care of me and had new boots out to me very quickly. I wore these on a wet morning elk hunt and my feet stayed dry. 5 miles in them and my feet felt great. Wonderful overall boot. Looking forward to wearing them in early season field hunts for waterfowl

Boot Review

I have a ton of Sitka and love the clothing. . . and was really looking forward to getting these boots for fishing and just wearing in the fall and winter. I was highly dissapointed in them. there is zero support in the bottoms of these(Like ZERO) and are just not comfortable at all. i wore them out an evening and fishing all day yesterday and they just are not good in any way shape or form other than the Gore Tex. I have wider feet and my feet still hurt from wearing them all day on the boat yesterday. (not their fault on that). Just the Zero support throughout the whole shoe and the thinness of the material with zero cushion on the sides(my feet where froze when they got off the water) I hope they redo these and make improvements because these are not up the par with the clothing or the brand . . . . . . I'm not sure how anyone says these are comfortable at all. The slip on part alot are complaining is a little tuff to get your foot into but not having to tie or lace up makes it ok to me, but also leaves room for your feet to slide around a bit inside which can only be expected. Please improve on these as they could be a great boot!

weird cut

The opening you slide your foot through is very tight. But then once you get your foot in the boot, it slides all around inside and it's very loose but still tight around your ankle.

RTX Boot

Wore it barefoot for the first 2 hours and went to REI to grab something. Came back with a blister from the right boot. The blister was constant friction at the back of the boot where materials were sewn for the finger loop attachment to help slid your foot into the boot. Now i have to wear thick socks or some reinforcement padding when wearing this boot. Other then that, I like it. It looks nice and feels light.
