I really like this product! It is very durable. I really like how you can adjust the size to be longer or shorter. I also like how the clip onto the collar is more heavy duty then other leashes. The leash is also stronger then other leashes. I very much recommend.

I want all things Sitka. Great quality. However this leash is disappointing. The clip is somewhat challenging to connect to a collar, and honestly feels like it won’t hold up over time. It’s basically a mini carabiner with a thin aluminum swing arm. Hopefully it holds up. Either way it’s not easy to connect to a squirmy puppy. Could be improved.

I’ve had Labrador retrievers for most of my life. I’ve used (and still do) several types of leashes (for various scenarios). The Sitka gear dog leash is approximately 5 feet long and made of 1 inch wide lightweight webbing. The hardware is rust resistant black and like most Sitka gear it is quality made. It comes in several colors and camouflage patterns. No matter how well trained your retriever is, a compact quality leash is a requirement when hunting with your bud. A good looking leash is also nice for walks in the neighborhood. This leash is great for both, and a good choice for many scenarios with your dog.

For leash training a puppy this leash is perfect. Attach it inside and letting him drag it around gives you all the control while getting them comfortable with being on leash. It's so light he forgot it was there in 30 min. Metal pieces are unchewable, material is durable.
