Received the gaiters and they seem to be of excellent quality. Have not used yet but expect them to be useful.

Very Unimpressed

Not what I expected at all. I'm a big fan of wearing gaiters so is is not the first pair I've owned. Two things that are wrong with the design. The first, is that they are not long enough for the gator hook to clip into the gator loop that most good hiking boots have. Not even long enough to get into the reinforced metal "Crispi" band on my top lace. You have to hook it a couple loops up in your laces. The last time I wore them I had snow underneath them on top of my laces when I took them off. Fail. The second major fail is that the top strap needs to be threaded through the plastic cinch buckle to do it up. Who wants to thread a strap every time they put on a boot? No snap or clip so you can't even skip this step. . . you have to thread it every single time. . . Gaiters are already enough extra effort to wear without adding even more steps. The material and the velcro seem like great quality though. That's where they earned a couple stars.

Worked fantastic. Had them for an off the grid red stag hunt in Argentina. Horseback riding and going through thick brush. I ordered a L and I wear size 12. It is a little big but they never fell down. I do tighten it as much as it lets me. Length was perfect.

These gaiters are made with quality materials and fit pretty good e. Only thing I have a problem with is the top strap that uses a buckle. It is very cumbersome to use and decent firmly tighten on my leg. A Velcro strap might have been better. It is also over priced compared to other brands

These are very nice and haven’t worn a whole lot yet but fit is good l/xl, size 11 boot for reference. This is my first pair and I will update this after spring turkey and my Colorado elk hunt.

Hunting season is upon us and I finally used them, I’ve worn gators mountaineering for years, these fit well because of the heal strap, definitely has slowed the ankle snags down greatly. Gators will increase your foot warmth so be prepared when it’s hot out.

The fit and quality are as expected from Sitka. I have used them multiple times in the field, legs have remained dry and warm. The are a heat multiplier for my boots as well. Love the product.

Xl Works well for size 12 hiking boots. Keep your pants, socks, feet dry. I like the internal clips for the strap lengths.

Will get a lot of use, will where them the next 6 days on bear hunt. Rain in the forecast, they will keep my lower leg area dry.

Rock solid options to hunt harder

Excellent performance and tough as nails. I wore these on archery hunts and hikes when it is raiing or wet. They are very durable and repel water well. The adjustable heel strap is durable and holds up well against rocks and mud throught damaging the coating. The hook for the boot laces is very sturdy. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a quality piece of gear.
