It fits perfect and I wear it almost everyday and is comfortable

Great piece

I am up to a few pieces of sitka now but minus my duck oven I did have a windstopper for whitetail hunting. I wish we had purchased it first 2 years ago. This morning I used the jacket, fanatic hoody, and a core lightweight T and I was very comfortable @35°F very moist today. Barkalow did a review about how it is not waterproof but could handle snow, a small shower, etc. It rained here yesterday all day it took ~3+ hours of a constant heavy rain to soak through the jacket. I will be looking into the Downpour next.

Stratus review

I have used this jacket twice but no complaints at all with it. Plenty warm and wind stays off of you. I use this as an outside layer to keep the heat in as it traps it very well.

Jacket fits great, awesome fit, almost make me look like a model when I wear them. The fabric is low noise and that perfect type of warm, I also like the optifade I picked this round as it really blends well with my local terrain.

I live in rural wv and have to ride my atv part way to my stand. This jacket was put to the test and let me tell you no wind broke through. The jacket is simply amazing would highly recommend to anyone.

Good Gear

Purchased the Stratus Jacket to wear for whitetail archery season. I found the jacket to be warm and quiet as it was suppose to be . Having one of its competitors, I found the Stratus jacket to out perform the competition. No surprise! I plan to purchase the Stratus pants in the very near future. Thank you Sitka for developing and making such great gear.

Warm Walk

I bought this jacket to wear walking to and from my stand for a December Muzzleloader hunt in Illinois. It was cold and windy and I wanted something to keep me warm and break the wind but not get over heated. It also worked great as a layer under my incinerator if Iwanted.

Stratus Jacket

Don’t wait to buy this jacket. I’ve worn it all through the Michigan bow, rifle, and muzzleloader season and have been very comfortable in it. Combined with the ambient jacket and the fanatic hoodie I have been comfortable down to about 25°.

Nice jacket

Love the jacket just as I have every other piece of Sitka gear in my kit. I’m 5’-8” and might suggest that someone consider the Tall version if they want to ensure you don’t have a drafty crack. When I sit down with this jacket and my stratus pants there is sometimes a little gap allowing for a chill. Maybe the answer isn’t a longer jacket but to get the Stratus bibs instead. Either way, I love the getup.

Haven't worn it out hunting yet but seems like a very nice jacket. Will use it for layering on those frigid late season hunts.

Stratus Jacket - Subalpine

Finally the strays came in Subalpine. Been waiting on cold weather gear in that pattern. Stratus is my go to and most versatile piece in the whole line. Its range in temperature is unmatched and so is its performance. I have stratus in elevated so now I can stay in it season long.

Very comfortable for bow hunting, one thin base layer and stayed warm in 27-35 with no problems . Normally colder on the hunt but never stayed cold this year so was unable to test out in cooler conditions
