Stratus Jacket, Large, Elevated 2

100% recommend. This is the most versatile piece of gear I own and I am using it more and more. I started using this jacket with the fanatic bibs for the mobility. It's perfect when layered with the fanatic hoodie and a thin thermal long sleeve under that. I am out in mild wind and 20 degree weather with this no problem.

I grabbed the jacket along with the bibs and they’re perfect! I needed something for 40 degrees (with base layers) up to 60 degrees (without base layers) for the area I hunt. The Stratus setup fits that perfectly!

Purchasing this jacket to go with the Stratus Bibs that I already have. Wore it all of October with just a base layer as needed; Wore it all of November and again base layer and the Stratus vest, PERFECT! Now I’m into December and it’s the merino base layer and the Ambient Jacket and I am totally in the game. Thank you for this system. I now have all 3 systems that I need. The Fanatic, Incinerator and Stratus have replaced all of my previous hunting clothing.

Great Layering System

This jacket w/Windstopper makes stand hunting a breeze. Change up under layers for when your on the move or sitting for extended periods and this jacket keeps you insulated and stops all wind. Makes sitting in a stand when it's 20°+ no problem.

Excellent piece of gear

This is probably my favorite piece of Sitka gear. It is true to fit and has ample pocket space to carry what I need. I also like the removable hood and the hole for harness as well.

My new go to Jacket!

This was my first piece of Sitka gear so I really had high standards for everything and they did not disappoint! Getting out to the blind and sitting for hours in 20-30 degree weather was no issue. When the time came to take this beautiful 10 pointer I was silent and deadly. Sitka definitely has a lifelong customer from me.

The XXL Stratus jacket from Sitka gear is a perfect fit for me at 6'0 and 220lbs, with ample sleeve length and enough room for layering. It is true to size, quiet, and extremely comfortable to wear. Great jacket

Bought this jacket for white tale hunting in MN and it’s worked great. On the windy days you don’t feel a thing coming through the jacket. Would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect for 32-55 degrees

With proper layering this jacket is amazing in cool temps. The wind blocker is the key. Love this piece and my fanatic suit. They keep me in my tree stand for longer and more comfortable.

I love this jacket, it

I love this jacket, it stops wind and is warm without being bulky. I will use it in September for cold mornings Elk hunting in the mountains as well this November in Ky bowhunting whitetails. It works well in the 35 to 55 degree range here in Ky. Super quiet and comfortable.

Comfortable

One of the most comfortable jackets I have worn. The jacket offers plenty of pockets for various equipment. It’s also super quiet which is super important for getting in and out of the woods when you hunt close to the bedding areas of deer. This is definitely a top item to add to the hunting ensemble.

Incredible archery whitetail jacket

I love the versatility of this jacket! It’s silent and water resistant. I would say the best part of it the wind proofing! In Pa if the temps drop to 30 or below I will put my Kelvin under it and can still shoot my bow. Great piece of gear!

Well worth it!

I have multiple Sitka clothing items for hunting whitetail, elk and moose. All of which have never disappointed; the Stratus system being my most recent addition. Stratus provides exceptional wind protection and warmth without the bulk, weight or stiffness of other brands. The brushed fabric keeps you quiet in the woods and offers plenty of functional pockets and a hood designed to easily accommodate your tree harness strap. As with all Sitka - the Stratus is 'well worth it'!

Consider me a believer

I hardly ever write review, but Sitka deserves this one. For years I’ve looked at Sitka hunting clothing and thought it was nice, but no way I’d cough up that kind of money. I would always wear big, bulky cheap camo that fades over time. Finally, I bought the stratus jacket and pants when they went on sale and boy, am I believer. This combo is great for walking around scouting and climbing into the stand. The pattern disappears into the trees. It’s warm enough (in some cases, too warm on long walks in) even as thin as it is. A week or two later, I bought a fanatic hoodie. Another awesome piece of gear. It won’t be my last either. I got my eyes on the fanatic jacket next. Thank you Sitka.

I love this jacket . Bought it for bow hunting and it’s great. Light weight but blocks wind, good for cool mornings. The elevate pattern looks awesome in the oaks in west Texas. Along with a lifetime warranty what’s not to love.

Wind proof and plenty warm

I love the stratus jacket. I also have the vest and bibs. I run a merino wool base layer with my equinox pants and fanatic hoody, with the vest to walk in and add the stratus jacket as needed. I have hunted all day in temps in the high 20’s to mid 30’s with no issue staying warm. The wind blocker is definitely a game changer. I have had other products with wind blocker, and they were great for tree stand hunting. I also saddle hunt regularly and the low bulk of this system is much better in the saddle for me.

Comfortable and quiet

I have used the Stratus jacket this whitetail season. It’s quiet and warm and well made. It’s been perfect for tree stand hunting or slipping through the woods quietly.

Perfect for the weather around Pennsylvania rifle season. I matched this coat with the fanatic hoodie and man was I warm. It’s the perfect jacket, I highly suggest investing in this jacket.

Love this jacket! Only issue is the hood is a little tight when I have it up. Need to order a Xl to see if it fits my body better.

Cuts the wind excellent, and is very quiet. I would say the bottom end of the comfort spectrum on this jacket would be 40 degrees. When hunting in the high 20s in Illinois had to wear several layers under it to keep warm, which cuts down on mobility. Sleeves were pretty tight with multiple layers. Overall good jacket.

Buck the wind while staying warm.

Wear this over a cold weather hoody and your good for a long sit.
