Great overall shorts. Great length and material!

Great shorts! It is increasingly hard to find a pair this length and this material. Most of the shorts I find now are made of a material that make way too much noise when I walk. Only thing I would change is change the snap to an actual button. I would also request the team at Sitka add a few more colors. CHEERS!

Comfortable and good fit. Has a snap instead of a button to close waist. It's sometimes hard to align and can pop open when straining, for instance.

Great shorts. Not really into knee length, so these are it for me. Could use a side slit pocket for an iPhone and a more secure button and loop closure. Otherwise 5-stars… Ordered 38’s, but could likely get away with 36’s.

Overall, great short

Perfect lightweight material, yet durable. Seems to stain fairly easily, oddly enough. Fit was different in waist to thigh opening, compared to pants. Had to go up a size because they were too tight in butt and thigh. I wish sizing was standardized..

Another hit...

I didn't think I'd keep them at first touch and now I love them. Light weight but not an issue. Once they come in more colors and restock I will get more. Once i get something that works i and i like, i will buy several because you never know, and this short is one of those examples.

Not too long or skinny metro fit, so that's cool.Good lt ripstop grid fabric that seems like.a.good compromise between casual and burley. 32 in waist sits a little loose at my hip bones so.if you're on the bubble size-wise you may wanna get your normal size and next one down to check fit.

New favorite short

Bought these because I’ve been rocking the same two pair American Eagle cargo shorts since high school. Yeah, 20+ year old cargo shorts. Got these and immediately threw the cargos away. Would like to see more pockets though, baby steps.

The shorts are very well made and functional. My only critique is I was they had a version with a shorter inseam. I prefer shorts that don’t go all the way down to my knees.

The Tarmac 8" short is great off shore. Super fast drying, stout enough for hooking, fighting and wiring billfish. Zip pockets are great. The itchy inside tags need to go. Other than they they are perfect.

Pants seem very rigid in cut but have a great amount of flex. Have used them hiking, fishing, work around farm. Very good flex on inseam when climbing into tractor cab while mowing. Highly recommend. True to size work well for IWB concealed carry as well.
