Very nice quality. I’ve heard really good things about them but was a little disappointed when I received them. Being from ND I was hoping for a little more ridged. They’re fine when you layer under them but it seems like they aren’t water resistant as much as I thought they would be. Still a good pant for certain times of the hunting season.

Almost Perfect
My favorite hunting pants and there’s only one improvement I could hope for: side vents. These pants changed my mind on knee pads and it’s now a feature I want on all my hunting pants. I will run this pant on semi active hunts from 60 degrees down to around 0 degrees with layering adjustments. Interested in the new pro model with the vents but already having waterproof gaiters I truly feel the current model with hip zips would be perfect.

Comfiest pair of pants yet
I’ve had these pants for about 4 seasons now and they are the least restrictive pants I’ve ever worn in the woods… if being mobile is your objective, this is your pair of pants… mine are definitely starting to show some wear but I have worn them through some nasty stuff… if they were wind proof you wouldn’t need any other pants except rain gear

Excellent Performance
These pants are excellent. Completed a 5 day 3 rd rifle elk hunt in Colorado with them. Temperatures ranged from low teens to high forties. I found these pants to be comfortable, quiet, waterproof in the seat and knees and feature rich. The seat and knees are durable however if walking through rose hips and thorns, I would recommend wearing gaiters to extend the life of the lower leg long term.

Good for motorcycling
I was looking for a comfortable pant to wear motorcycle riding. I wanted the four way stretch to prevent binding. This pant delivered plus. The suspenders eliminated the need for a belt. The zipper pockets gave peace of mind not loosing items. The cargo pockets allowed no billfold discomfort. They keep me warm in 40 degree temperatures with a Gore Tex Shell 75 mph. The knee pads help with warmth and protection if I go down. When temperatures increased to mid seventies the pant did not over heat my legs. Glad I made this purchase.

Disappointed
⸻ Disappointed with Timberline Pants – Not the Usual Sitka Quality Let me start by saying I have a very extensive collection of Sitka gear. I’m usually extremely happy with the quality and craftsmanship, which is why I continue to invest in their products. Unfortunately, the Timberline Pants did not meet the high standards I’ve come to expect from Sitka. On their very first use — my first hunt wearing them — they ripped and tore, including a puncture hole. I was simply walking logging roads while grouse hunting, not pushing through rough brush or putting them through any serious abuse. That kind of failure on day one is incredibly disappointing, especially considering the premium price and Sitka’s usual durability. That said, they did fit true to size and were very comfortable to wear — which is the reason I’m giving two stars instead of one. Hoping this was just a rare quality control issue, but it’s left me pretty dissatisfied this time around.

Great spot and stalk pants in rocky terrain
I bought these hoping they would be a solid overall pant for coyote hunting in the Dakotas, wildlife photography in the mountains, and spot and stalk hog hunting in the south. So far they have been great. While the knee pads help with spot and stalk in rocky, cactus filled terrain, for the most part I try to go without them as they are more comfortable without them.
