I’ve worn this for both late season elk and spring bear archery hunts. This jacket is silent, no joke. The thumb loops are great for long armed folks like myself, and don’t confine me when I’m at full draw. The hood is form fitting, I’ve worn it in a full Wyoming wind storm and it stayed on snug. I’m 5’11” tall, 160 pounds with long arms and the medium is a good fit. I wear it directly over a base layer and it’s not tight, but not baggy at all. If I wanted to wear it over other layers I would size up.

Perfect hoodie for Alaska
I am super impressed with the quality of this piece of gear. I ordered the hoodie for future goose hunts and gave it a few trial runs while ice fishing and working around the house in Jan/Feb.
