This is my second traverse gordie I purchased because of its quality. First one was bought for my husband and because of the warmth and comfort this prompted us to buy one for my son. You get what you pay for. Top quality.

I am 5”11 about 165 the large is a little baggy but it’s great to layer under, very warm and comfy, it’s a great jacket!

Perfect base layer for cold late season mornings

I actually wear a smart old base layer underneath this and then a Sidka Parker and I am good to go in all conditions even 30° weather I stay warm. I love the way that zips all the way up past your nose.

Ordering online was quick and easy. Product arrived quickly. High quality and should last a long time. Very pleased with the overall transaction. My son wanted an XL because he said it was a good fit to wear over a hooded sweatshirt. He's 5'10 and 165lbs. I put it on and it was a good fit with a t-shirt on underneath. I'm 6'1 and 220lbs. I would consider a 2xl if I was going to wear it over some bulkier items.

Great mid-layer but. .

All in all the jacket is good and is a nice mid-layer. The fit is great everywhere but the forearms. I have an athletic build with decent size arms but nothing crazy and i can only fit a next to skin type layer or long sleeve t-shirt under it because the forearms are so tight. I like the hoodie good enough that I'd still recommend it to someone, and the typical quality you get from Sitka is there, but I'd warn them about the arm fit. I bought the large, which is my fit for pretty much anything.

Worth the hype

This hoodie is the best for cold weather. It’s a perfect layer for under my waders and is great for everyday outings alone.

I bought this hoodie for PA rifle season. It was the coldest season I remember to date. This hoodie paired with other Sitka products held up in the frigid cold. 100% recommend.

Love the fabric sitka uses for their clothes, very comfortable and everything always fits great. The hunter orange is on point. The fabric is very hard to stain, love this!

Bought for my son for Christmas. It ran small so we will exchange it but otherwise it was exactly what he was looking for.

Its warm and had to reach deep in water to grab a duck rung out the sleeve put it back on and was comfortable the rest of the day couldnt really feel the wet like on normal clothing highly recommend

White hoodie I got for the wife

I got this hoodie for my wife because one it looks amazing but she has lupus and cold weather literally makes her hurt. Although it isn't for extreme cold it does protect from pretty cold weather without being bulky. She is a home hospice nurse so she goes from extreme cold to hot houses frequently and likes how easy it is to take on and off. She loves it!!!

Very versatile…unexpected sizing

I’m giving 4 stars only for sizing issues, quality, price point and performance is 5 stars…Replaced my old Traverse jacket, size M, with the hoodie…Used primarily as outer layer for whitetail in the southeast, however, also worked well in the timber under waders on a recent waterfowl hunt, built in facemask is a nice touch…side note, I’ve been wearing Sitka products for a decade+, my usual layering size is M, surprised at how tight this M was in the shoulders and arms, the return-repurchase for L was easy enough, the L fit shoulders and arms like my old Ms, but the torso was bigger than I desire, don’t know if Sitka has changed manufacturer specifications or factories since my last purchase

Amazing jacket

Great bibs for early fall to early winter hunting in central ontario canada. I went up a size from M to L so I could extend the use of my Traverse bib and Traverse hoodie into the winter hunting. It gives me room to throw more layers.

Just like all the other Sitka clothing it looks good and it feels good very light but very warm

Excellent cold weather layer.

I add the Traverse hoodie over my merino base layer and then the Fanatic jacket. Keeps me warm and I can hunt through the coldest of days. Worth every penny.
