Exactly what I was looking for

This hoody is honestly more like a softshell jacket. Its perfect for those early-mid season sits when the temps start to drop as the sun sets. It has been my go to mid layer during regular season in NY as well. The DWR treatment and built in facemask are also great features. Highly recommend.

Great layering piece for cold days and a nice stand-alone jacket when the weather is more cooperative. I use this hoody under my Dakota Vest for mid-season waterfowl hunts in the Midwest and coastal California.

Quiet and warm

I wear it over a merino 330 1/2 zip when I hunt in an enclosed shooting house because of how quiet it is. It’s silent and warm. It’s usually all I need unless it’s extremely cold for where I’m at. I wore it once under a stratus vest for a little extra warmth. It’s a very comfortable combination.

Nice Jacket

Solid jacket for cool weather, I tend to run a little colder on hunts so I'd prefer it was a bit warmer. I've ordered a kelvin aerolite that I'm hoping I can layer underneath but these traverse hoodies don't leave a ton of room with their athletic cut. We'll see. Either way very happy with the jacket. I might consider the Jetstream or Dakota if I were looking for something a bit more protective from wind or terrain.

I have worn this hoody on cool days by itself to using it as a layering piece when Mother Nature strikes! It is absolutely perfect.

Love this Hoody!

This has become one of my favorite pieces of whitetail gear! I wear this as a mid layer on cold days or an outer layer on milder days. The fabric is super quiet and comfortable. I just wish the Traverse pants were made of the same material!

This is an excellent outer

This is an excellent outer layer for cool mornings. It allows just enough air flow in to keep you from overheating but at the same time keeps you warm. Add a mid layer for colder mornings, I like the Kelvin Areolite. A must need for hunting the mild winters on theTexas Coast. I’m 5’7” and weight just over 200. The XL fit well with room for a thin mid layer when needed.
