I use it mainly as a mid layer and no complaints. If you are going to put it on over anything other than a base layer then I would go up a size.

Awesome midweight full zip hoodie. . . . . . Light enough to wear on a fall morning over a t-shirt, but warm enough to use as a base layer for those cold hunts. Great product! I bought this as a gift for my son. . . . . He is 5'10'' and 170lbs with an athletic build and a medium fits him just right.

Great mid weight gear for cold Alabama River bottoms

My Traverse hoody matched with my Traverse bibs are perfect far January deer and hog hunting in the Alabama river bottoms.

Awesome jacket!

I owned this coat for five years and it was used quite often as it is my favorite coat. I really like the built in hoodie and face mask. The zipper eventually started separating due to age and use. Went through Sitka warranty and they shipped me a brand new one at no cost to me! Awesome jacket and awesome customer service!

Super comfortable and warm. Love the pockets and thumb loops. This is one of my favorites and wear it almost daily. Also have the marsh pattern for duck hunts and really like that it is warm yet breathes. If it's windy/stormy I easily throw on my shell and I'm perfect. Fit is great, not too tight or baggy yet it is still accommodating - I got a Large and 6' 209lbs

Most comfortable

This jacket is my go to for dog training. I bought it in white and I’ve had it for 2 years. the material is soft, it cleans easily, wear it every day and it gets washed at the end of each day working 3-12 dogs. I get everything from mud to blood on this jacket daily and it still looks good. If I had to change 1 thing, I would have the sleeve and jacket length made 2” longer but that’s just my experience.

Definitely warm for it's weight. Paired under a jetstream jacket is the winning ticket. In my view it's more of a softshell jacket than a mid layer. Order one size up from your normal though, im a large in everything and needed and XL

Very nearly the perfect jacket.

Would be perfect if it were just a few inches longer.

Amazing/Warm

Wore outside in 6 degree weather with a real feel of -7. Had a thermal long sleeve underneath it and was comfortable while outside for about 5 hours. Definitely worth it will be buying more gear from sitka.

It has been amazing, except it is a little small. Kept me warm in 40 degree weather so I am very happy with it.

Must Have

My son turned me on to this hoodie so I bought one. It is amazing. Quite lightweight but yet keeps you warm. On the real cold days during the late season I wear it under another jacket and I stay plenty warm. I normally wear a XL but upsized to a XXL for layering.

Great active insulation layer

Great everyday jacket if you are active. Not a good choice for an insulation layer if you are going to be static. My wife wears my traverse hoodie regularly to take the dog for a walk in the winter because it’s so warm.

All Sitka gear is great

Traverse hoodie is a great jacket is great for cool to cold weather with a few good layers underneath. Not great in blocking wind but comfortable and warm and most importantly fits great when shooting archery equipment with that snug arm fit.
