I got this piece and use it for cold days or early mornings. I love the face cover and the quiet material as well. This will keep you plenty warm. I have a size medium and I am 5’4” and around 160 pounds. It fits great, and I am very happy with it.

Warranty Repair

Had a front zipper break on my hoodie and contacted Sitka. Set it off for repair and what do you know Sitka sent me a whole new Hoodie!!!!! Now that’s customer service! Thank you SITKA!

Warmer than expected!

This is by far my favorite hoodie I own by Sitka. It is warm and does a decent job of blocking the wind. I bought it in black to wear everyday. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Sizing is off

Order a size up. The armpits are super tight if you have an athletic build with broad shoulders and a smaller waist. But then everything else is going to be too long or baggy when you size up. If you’re built like a string bean this is your hoodie. I fit into every size Large I’ve ever tried with other brands. Sitka really missed the mark on this one. Then they stick you with the shipping charge for a product that doesn’t fit within their own size chart. That’s not right.

Flexible hoodie

I have this in a couple colors but the one that gets the most use is the all white. Hunting on back boards in a snow spread the included face mask is must and the fit of it is right on the money, can easily maneuver and shoulder the shotgun

Use it frequently. Very, quiet and dry. It’s seems that L is a little too small and XL is a little too big.

Phenomenal jacket. Super warm and packable. Great for this upcoming early turkey season. Also, it will be a great stand alone piece for deer season or as a layering piece. One of my favorite Sitka pieces.

Good jacket

Bought this as a handler jacket for training my dog. It’s white, stains come out easily and the fit is spot on. Really warm and comfortable. If I had to make any changes, would be nice if it wish the hood was a little bigger but it’s designed to be tight and a wind stopper. That’s just nit picking though. I’ll definitely order another one.

I own 4 of these, two camo, a black and a white for everyday wear. I love everything about them. A snug fitting hood that won’t blow off, deep zippered pockets and those thumb slots in the sleeves. It’s my go to 25-40 degree outdoor jacket. Pretty true to size.

Here in Bama we have bi-polar weather, One week it snows on the beach the next its 80 degrees and tornado weather. I needed a light weight thin hoodie and pants that would work when its 80 in the afternoon but 50 during primetime of the evening. This checked the box.

Perfect Intermediate

The Traverse Hoodie adds a great deal of warmth with just a base layer of merino. The hood provides a nice "microclimate" on your head to help with heat loss. The face cover is a perfect thickness to cover your face without feeling like you are being smothered and the elastic does a great job of keeping it in place.

Excellent product. It is not windProof but I find it’s fairly wind resistant. Fits well, with great freedom of movement.

Least favorite piece

Probably my least favorite piece, doesn't really serve a purpose for me unless I'm hunting in 60+ degree weather without rain or cold wind, or if I try to use it as a layering piece but they have much better options. Would not purchase this product again.

Comfort, warmth, silent all in one

This is more of a

This is more of a jacket than a hoodie. Although it’s designed to be a base layer, it’s too thick for that in my opinion. But, I’ve used it as a jacket and it works great. The outer shell is the quietest hunting fabric I’ve ever used. Perfect for bow hunting. The lining is thick enough to wear it in sub 30° temperatures with appropriate base layer(s). My only knock on it is the hood doesn’t shape to my head as well as my Heavyweight and Fanatic Hoodies…meaning, my head can turn inside the hood allowing the sides to block my vision. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. But, I like it so much I own two of them!
