Fantastic coat. Wore throughout late Archery season in Michigan and Rifle season in temperatures hovering around 0 degrees. It did what it was supposed to do when layered on top of a base layer, mid-layer and insulating vest. Fit is a little different than the rest of the Sitka apparel I have gotten with baggier sleeves and a more boxy torso.

Traverse Jacket has been a perfect layering choice as a chilly early season layer by itself with a core lightweight long sleeve underneath. Or it pairs perfectly under my Fanatic bibs on much colder sits. Nice and quiet, perfect for saddle hunting. XXL is the perfect size (for me, anyway) 6’2” 240# and it’s loose enough that I can wear my Sitka base layers under it with plenty of room and it’s not too bulky if I throw my Status or Fanatic jacket over it.

Love this jacket

I bought 10 of these in both men and women for my office staff and had them monogrammed. We are in healthcare and can not have regular fleece in the office. The outer surface is smooth and very comfortable, yet the inside is a very warm fleece. Very comfortable and stretchy. The entire staff has worn them every day this winter!

Good jacket

Excellent Outer Shell

Great Jacket - Need small size

Really like the quality, features, and look of the jacket. However, Sitka does not offer it in Men's small. Fit is probably spot on for a medium. My 14 year old son and I both need a Men's small. Hope Sitka is listening - lot's of teenage fellows need jackets. Had to buy another brand for my teen due to size issues.

Premium Warmth, Slightly Tight Fit

The Sitka Traverse Jacket feels extremely high quality right out of the box and does a great job retaining warmth perfect for morning hunts. The materials and construction definitely live up to the brand’s reputation. That said, it ran a bit smaller than expected, which ultimately led me to return it. If you’re between sizes or plan to layer underneath, I’d recommend sizing up.

Traverse jacket

Another great example of the high quality and superior products from Sitka. I have used this jacket multiple occasions during hiking and conditioning trips in the Wichita Mountains this fall and early spring. Weather has been all over the place and the lightweight jacket is perfect for packing; small and lightweight but extremely comfortable and warm in dropping temperatures and high winds.
