Great Quality

As usual this arrived and when I tried it on it was constructed of great quality and fit. Extremely comfortable .

Great mid layer

Great mid layer. I actually own three. One I wear everyday in the winter on the cold mornings to work. The others I wear under my coats deer hunting or duck hunting. The only thing is that I would not just wear it to my stand because it will pick easily but very quiet to wear in the stand.

Quality product

Appears to be quality made. It will be worn under outer goretex layer. Its too warm to try it yet but purchased to wear it on trip to Idaho later this fall.

Sharp, warm, and very well made

This is one of the better jackets I’ve ever owned. It’s much warmer and thicker than I expected, so this is definitely a cold-weather jacket, not something for summer. The fit is true to size, very tailored, streamlined, and sharp without being loose or baggy. It feels substantial and extremely well made, but still looks clean enough to wear out on a cold night. Great quality and a really impressive jacket.

This jacket is a must have for hunting, chores, and wearing to town. It's great as a stand-alone or as a layer under a heavier coat. This is my sixth one in the last 6 years, in different colors and camos. I like it better than the hoodie version for hunting.

Super slick finish. Arms a little long but will work. Should be nice on the early morning boat rides to the duck blind. Or fishing as well

I’ve been very impressed with the Sitka Traverse Jacket. It has become one of my favorite pieces of hunting gear because of how versatile it is. The jacket works exceptionally well as a fleece mid-layer, providing plenty of warmth without feeling bulky or restrictive. It’s lightweight enough to wear comfortably during active hunts, yet warm enough to take the chill off cool mornings and evenings. One thing that surprised me is how well it handles light moisture. While it’s not a dedicated rain jacket, it does a respectable job repelling light rain and morning dew, which adds to its versatility in the field. The Optifade Subalpine camouflage pattern is another standout feature. The pattern blends extremely well in East Tennessee woods, especially in green vegetation, early season cover, and wooded terrain. It breaks up your outline effectively while still looking great. Overall, the Sitka Traverse Jacket is a lightweight, comfortable, and versatile fleece that performs well as a layering piece or outer layer in mild conditions. If you’re looking for a dependable hunting jacket with excellent camouflage and all-day comfort, it’s hard to go wrong with the Traverse.

This jacket seems to be very high quality, well built, and comfortable. I purchased it in the off-season, so I haven’t been able to it into action yet, but I’m sure it won’t disappoint next season.

I have several Sitka items and hunt hard. The Traverse Jacket was a great add to my arsenal and economically priced. I love my traverse pants which stretch for maximum comfort too.

Excellent Outer Shell

I bought this for when I hunt in the mid-west as I needed an option for when it's cold but not frickin cold. Soft and quiet outer layer that is also water resistant and fit true to size. I wear this instead of the fanatic and have also been known to wear it bird hunting.

Fantastic coat. Wore throughout late

Fantastic coat. Wore throughout late Archery season in Michigan and Rifle season in temperatures hovering around 0 degrees. It did what it was supposed to do when layered on top of a base layer, mid-layer and insulating vest. Fit is a little different than the rest of the Sitka apparel I have gotten with baggier sleeves and a more boxy torso.

Traverse Jacket has been a perfect layering choice as a chilly early season layer by itself with a core lightweight long sleeve underneath. Or it pairs perfectly under my Fanatic bibs on much colder sits. Nice and quiet, perfect for saddle hunting. XXL is the perfect size (for me, anyway) 6’2” 240# and it’s loose enough that I can wear my Sitka base layers under it with plenty of room and it’s not too bulky if I throw my Status or Fanatic jacket over it.
