This jacket is going to be great for whitetail hunting. With a little bit of layering this should get you well into November. Very, sleek, not too bulky. Because I do plan on layering I did go a size up and that was perfect. Usually L went with XL.

Just bought this in 90 degrees weather so obviously haven’t worn it yet. It does seem to be top quality. I got this jacked a little over sized to wear over my base layers. I’m a L but got XL. Fits great. I’ll probably get a solid color for everyday use.

Ordered an XL so I could layer underneath. Usually wear a large in all my other sitka tops and jackets. Can't wait to use it this fall. Love the fit and feel. Will make a good cold weather outer layer. Quality piece, just like all the sitka gear I have.

The traverse is a great hunting jacket and works great for stand hunting in 25 to 50 degree days and spot and on stalk hunts in the mountains it is good down to 15 or 20 degrees. It's quiet, very flexible and vents well when I'm on the move

I use the traverse jacket/hoodies for everything

From Oct-Mar I am using these jackets and hoodies almost non stop. They are warm enough and water resistant for use as outer layers on the airboat early season and most of the season when wind/rain isn’t an issue.
