True to fit, provides wind proof and warmth as outer layer. Would recommend to anyone.

Disappointed

Ordered this after trying on several different Sitka products. Figured they would be similar in sizing. Bought this one for cooler weather hunting and was disappointed that it definitely doesn’t fit the same. It’s smaller than other products so I have to send it back. Men’s sizers are too long in the arms so not sure what the next option is

Great Potential

Another great jacket. Hasn’t been cold enough for use but it feels great. My only complaint is that the sleeves are a bit on the short side but I am a tall small so that happens often. Would love some pit zips and thumb holes though!

Warmer than I thought, hood could be taller. I have to crouch with the hood up. Like all Sitka for me I need an XL when chart recommends Large.

I love the way it fits and how lightweight but warm it is.

My wife was skeptical. . . but she loves it!

I bought this as a gift for my wife to wear in the spring and fall around town, hiking, or outside playing with the kids. She was skeptical at first because it does not cut wind super well (it's not supposed to), but after taking it on a couple hikes and sledding outings this winter she is in love with it! She keeps mentioning how happy she is with how warm and cozy this jacket is.

The Ambient Jacket is functionally comfy

The Ambient Jacket fits amazing! I was hesitant to order it because the hood is not removable but it does not crowd the back of my neck and neither is it uncomfortable to wear on my head (it’s not tight at all but will definitely stay in place). Also when the hood is folded down the ‘collar’ area does not rest under my chin. It lays on my breastbone area as it should. This is a wonder jacket and I will definitely get much use out of it. It is very light yet warm and certainly allows for room to layer (under arm area is not snug which would allow for layers). For fit references: I am 5’3”, 130 - usually a medium (I have medium in incinerator), I also have women’s curves, extra on top and the fit allows for DD’s with ease. The sleeves have a delicate wrist elastic that holds them in place at my wrist and it is not annoyingly tight in the least bit. I would say the arm length is generous but not beyond my fingertips so taller ladies would appreciate this. Yes I would buy this jacket again in another color and look froward to wearing it as much as possible. Hope this info helped.

Comfy and Warm. Wear it all the time! It is so lightweight and snuggly, it’s like mom’s old “housecoat”, but not! I am 127#, and I ordered a small. I can easily wear my base layer under it.
