How to Take
Your Measurements
-
1. SLEEVE MEASURE
Bend your elbow and put your hand on your hip. Measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the shoulder and down the elbow to the wrist bone.
-
2. CHEST SIZE
Wrap the tape measure under armpits, around the fullest part of your chest. The tape measure should be snug, not so tight that it constricts breathing, yet not so loose that the tape measure slides down. Don’t puff out your chest. Stand relaxed while measuring.
-
3. WAIST SIZE
Measure your natural waist, which is the narrowest part of your abdomen, between your ribcage and hips. Stand relaxed while measuring.
-
4. HIP
For hip circumference, measure around your fullest point, approximately 8” below your natural waist.
-
5. INSEAM
In a standing position, measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.
-
6. GLOVES
With hand partially closed, measure over the knuckles and around the hand, excluding the thumb.
-
If Waist and Hip measurements do not match up on the chart, choose a size that is between the two to find the best fit.
Ex 1: If your waist measures 28” and your hip measures 40”, typically the best fit would be a size 29.
Ex 2: If your waist measures 27.5”, and your hips measure 38”, typically the best fit would be a size 28.

I ordered this jacket in a Medium, and it fits just right. I'm 5'5" 130 lbs and it affords a little extra wiggle room for layering underneath. One thing I'm not a huge fan of is how big the upper arms are. I get that the upper arms are bigger for layering, and lower arms are taped for us bowhunters, but I think they went a little big on the upper arms. Either way, I like it. Nice piece in my collection.

Fantastic! This jacket was my go to piece for my Montana late season general elk hunt. I layered this together with merino base layers, the fanatic hoody, and the downpour jacket on top and was toasty warm - sometimes too warm - in 5° F to 30° F weather. Throw in 30 mph crosswinds, and I am impressed how well this jacket insulated. There does seem to be a bit of pilling to the fabric which is a shame, but I had this on for at least 14 hours a day for 12 days straight through rugged terrain. The Elevated II pattern is also so perfect for snowy terrain.
I recently wore the Celsius jacket between the fanatic hoody and the downpour jacket in 45 degree rainy weather and I was toasty warm. The arms allow for flexibility and didn’t feel like I was wearing a bulky jacket. Definitely a go to during white tail bow and gun season!
I have a Hunting Jacket for life!
I have spent less money on hunting jackets and they have always failed after a few years.
I did extensive research before deciding on the Fanatic. The quality is higher than all the others and warmth is outstanding. I get cold very easy but love to be in the woods so I get frustrated when I have to come home because I''m cold,.The quality of this line is everything they say it is.
Recurve bow ground hunting is my preference so being quiet and still is a must. My first experience was a coyote at ten yards. Yep, ten yards and he did not have a clue. I am so excited for deer season next year.
I love that SITKA thinks of us gals in their lines. I have normally had to purchase men's clothing because the women's were just not made for the real deal.
Folks this is worth the extra money, you will not have to buy another.
The only suggestion I could make is back pack straps on the inside of the jacket so it can be carried easier on long walks without over heating.
The other is boot blankets with the same warmth.
Thank you SITKA for taking some of my hunting frustrations away!
Absolutely love this jacket!! I'm 5'3" 130 lbs and ordered a medium to account for plenty of room for layering and it fits perfectly. The articulated elbows are my favorite thing about this jacket.
