Women’s traverse hoodie

Bought this for my wife after getting myself one. (So she would give mine back!) we use them as a mid or outer layer skiing. They have been excellent for these and the hood fits under your helmet. Very warm for a hoodie. Not much for wind blocking but it clearly says it’s not intended for that which is why really cold days it’s a mid layer.

Almost the best farm coat but hood a little small.

I know this hunting attire but working around the farm can be cold, wet and treacherous and I am appreciating this jacket. I am no longer facing daily dilemmas on which layers to wear to the barn in the morning as out temps swing from teens to 50's. This coat really keeps out the cold and also doesn't overheat as things warm up though I have added an extra vest when we get well below freezing. I love the fabric, nothing sticks to it! Hay, dirt, shavings, hair. What doesn't fall off wipes off easily and I can head into town with the same coat and still feel presentable. My only complaint is the hood is a little tight and restraining and the attached face mask is a nice concept but also way too tight and in is hanging up on everything if you are someone that has to take the hood off/on often, will probably just cut it off one of these days. Maybe I needed a medium hood on the small jacket or perhaps I should have upsized to a medium but the jacket fits perfectly otherwise. I wanted it to be fitted so that I could wear it under other layers for the really cold days.

Runs slightly small, but if you size up then its perfect for layering. This is VERY warm, so not many layers are needed. Its extremely comfortable.

I hav e purchased many Sitka items over the years and loved them. As a women it is frustrating that your sizes are not consistent. I own an XL in all of your tops and they fit well. So of course I purchase this as an XL. I could not even zip the front up over my chest. The sizing is not consistent at all. Now I have to go through the inconvenience of returning this Item.

Probably the best slim fitting jacket I've ever wore!

For the lack of bulk this jacket is second to none. It is a slim fit, so there isn't a lot of room to layer underneath, but it fits a base layer exceptionally well. It cuts wind nicely and without a base layer is comfortable with temps dipping into the 20s. Highly recommend this for a classic, slim fitting piece of equipment that can be dressed up or down.

Warm - Not as heavy as old version

Not as warm and thick as the discontinued "Cold-weather traverse hoodie". Allegedly this one is made with better materials. Excellent fit and still nice, just wish it was the same as their discontinued version.

Fit is very wide and short with very short sleeves

Love the feel and materials. Nice and warm. The sleeves are fully 4 inches too short on me and it fits like a belly shirt! So wide. About 6 inches of extra width that bunch if layered and 6 inches too short exposing my lower back. I am 5’7” 125 lb and bought a women’s medium. I so wish the fit was better on me. I regifted to a friend who is about my weight but quite short and I was overjoyed that it fits her well and looks great on her. I don’t want to ask but I’d guess she is about 5’3” and maybe 130lb and it looks great on her body. Maybe I will try a men’s size small for myself.
