How to Take
Your Measurements

Bend your elbow and put your hand on your hip. Measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the shoulder and down the elbow to the wrist bone.

Wrap the tape measure under armpits, around the fullest part of your chest. The tape measure should be snug, not so tight that it constricts breathing, yet not so loose that the tape measure slides down. Don’t puff out your chest. Stand relaxed while measuring.

Measure your natural waist, which is the narrowest part of your abdomen, between your ribcage and hips. Stand relaxed while measuring.

  • 4. HIP

For hip circumference, measure around your fullest point, approximately 8” below your natural waist.

  • 5. INSEAM

In a standing position, measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.

  • 6. GLOVES

With hand partially closed, measure over the knuckles and around the hand, excluding the thumb.

  • If Waist and Hip measurements do not match up on the chart, choose a size that is between the two to find the best fit.

Ex 1: If your waist measures 28” and your hip measures 40”, typically the best fit would be a size 29.

Ex 2: If your waist measures 27.5”, and your hips measure 38”, typically the best fit would be a size 28.

I really really love this jacket. Durability and functionality are there. I guide upland hunts in central Iowa and this is a nice functional coat that is great for many seasons, HOWEVER Sitka did not hit the mark with the zipper on this coat. It is awful and gets caught on the fabric half of the time I zip the coat up. That is the only reason I gave the coat 3 stars.

My favorite jacket I own!

I absolutely love this jacket. It is light weight but warm. The wind blocker makes a huge difference. I live in Maine and wear this jacket duck hunting, upland hunting, Sea Duck hunting out of our boat off the Coast of Maine, dog training or just out for a walk with my pups. It's my go to for just about everything. Excited to see it in the Blue color for everyday wear. Will be purchasing it when a XS or Small become available.

This is a wonderful jacket that I have truly put through the wringer. I've had this jacket for about a year and a half and it's my go-to for any cold weather activity. From deer hunting, duck hunting, fly fishing, brush busting, flying down a river in a jet boat, a day at work or a cold day in town running errands, this jacket has held up and kept me warm. I've snagged it countless times on berry bushes, broken twigs, barbed wire, and many other sharp edges, and have managed to only put one small tear in it, apart from the talons of a great horned owl rescued off the highway, he unfortunately sunk right through, but I'm not even mad about that one ;) . My one and only complaint, is after a few washes and being thrown in the dryer, the magnets that hold the pockets closed are no longer in place, and now float around inside the material, but that was likely due to my lack of reading washing instructions. Overall, great jacket that'll keep you warm, and hold up to abuse.

I've had this jacket for two months and absolutely love it. Living in northeast Wisconsin where the winters are cold, this jacket keeps me warm with minimal layering. In fact, I was nice and toasty last weekend wearing only this jacket, and a heavy long underwear shirt at -2º with a -14º wind chill (trudging through snow as well which did help keep me warm). It really does block wind as good as it claims. I am a falconer and often find myself crawling through dense brush. A major concern of mine before purchasing this jacket was how well it would hold up to briars and branches. It has done well so far but I do my best to not put it to the test.

My favorite thing about this jacket is how I can wear it in a broad range of temperatures and still be comfortable. I also love the pocket placement. The two magnet-closure pockets for my hands are the perfect size and are in just the right place for keeping my ungloved hand warm when I need it. The top zipper pocket is excellent for storing my key fob and phone for quick access. I am 5'5" and 127lbs and the small fits me perfectly. Five stars from me, Sitka Gear!
