QUALITY BOOT FROM SITKA

This Rover GTX LTH boot from Sitka is great for hiking, fishing and anything outside. Very comfortable, easy to slip on and off. The sole is high quality and allows for solid footing on a trail or boat deck.

Quality

I pit blind hunt with waders on all day. It seems perfect if you have to wade around picking up decoys. I needed a shorter jacket. I will know more after season starts. But the Quality is as expected.

Ai helped explain the fit I’m 5’11” 170lbs. I wear a large shirt/hoodie. Have broad shoulders. I went with what Ai told me and ordered a M it fit perfectly.

Great all-around pants

xcellent quality and a very versatile design. The fabric feels durable while still being comfortable, and the pants have a clean fit and practical features that make them suitable for a wide range of conditions. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size for myself, but that was entirely my mistake and not an issue with the product. I would definitely buy them again in the correct size.

Excellent quality work pants

Very impressed with the quality of these pants. The materials and construction feel excellent, and the overall design is practical and well thought out. They look great and feel like they are made to last. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size for myself, but that was entirely my sizing mistake and not an issue with the product. Very great product. Fits super well not too restrictive but not too loose to catch on things. Perfect for any waterfall situation.

Decent shoe, needs improvements

I hike about 30ish miles per week in some moderately rugged terrain- but mostly trails with loose gravel and some rock. I’ve put about 80 miles on the shoes. The good: Fit as described. Like the toe box and fact that they hold up well to abuse, cactus, rock impacts. Sole feels solid and much more rigid than a normal trail hiker. I like the idea of a hunting shoe that offers a sole that can handle some extra weight of a pack without feeling every rock as I step. Traction is great. Gore-Tex is nice as it keeps feet dry when walking through wet grass or rain. Not so good: Feet feel a bit “numb” when walking. I’m not sure why. They could use more padding and refinement. I can feel hotspots on my pinky toe and near ankle every time I put them on. I’m going to try heavier socks. Overall, they get the job done but they aren’t very comfortable. Some might try to return them due to this - I’m just trying to tough through the pain because I want to like them.

Years of Abuse, Great Product

I’ve hunted all over the country in this hoodie, from chasing bear through the mountains in August, to September elk in Oregon, to spring turkey in Oklahoma. I have absolutely put this thing through the wringer. Blackberries, heavy brush, long days in the field, you name it. The durability has been incredible. I probably have over 200 days in this shirt at this point. There are a few small holes here and there, but considering what I’ve put it through, it’s honestly a miracle that’s all the damage it has. I own a lot of Sitka gear. I love most of it, and there are definitely a few pieces I could live without. This is without a doubt on my must-have list. Especially after spending more time hunting in the Midwest and South, the bug protection is not optional, and it’s definitely not a gimmick. It works incredibly well against ticks, chiggers, and mosquitoes. After two years of putting this hoodie through hell and back, the bug protection still performs just as well as it did on day one. From fly fishing Yellowstone to working dogs on a pond in the South, this hoodie comes with me on just about every trip. Highly Recommend.

Great quality and feeling hoodie but for me, the xxl sizing was more like a large or xl. Previously, I had ordered a Sitka xxl rain jacket and the sizing was great. Bit of a surprise when these xxl hoodies ordered came in and felt more like a large or xl. Maybe Sita could make an 3xl size hoodie or adjust/increase the size of their hoodies? There are other reviews from customers saying the same thing. For size context, I'm 5'9, 200 lbs. , 50" chest. I used the Sitka size chart for reference prior to ordering.

Very poor quality

I’ve worn these shoes for two weeks. 1 they are not waterproof as described. 2 the sole is already falling off and 3 the treads are ripping off after one hike. Very dissapointing.

Ascent shoes

Good quality, but very hard to put my foot in because it is seam sealed very high. Shoe fits as far as length but very tight on bridge of the foot.

Favorite pants!

I have been seeking a pair of early season pants that performs well and actually fits well too! I could have saved a lot of time and money by just starting with Sitka. I am a woman with narrower hips, but not string-bean slender either. Women's pants are usually too curvy. Mens pants usually fit better, but there's always something weird. Given the cut and the material these are perfect. I've been out in the marsh and the woods in them so far and they stay comfortable all day long. They dry incredibly fast, and they've kept me cooler on hot days! If you're on the fence, give them a try.

The quality of these pants is excellent, and they’re very comfortable to wear. The materials and construction feel premium, and the fit through the waist and thigh is spot‑on. My only issue is the inseam length — I had to get them tailored down to 30”, which adds extra cost and effort. It would be great to see Sitka offer a 30” inseam option in the future, as many competitors already do. Aside from that, they’re a fantastic pair of pants.

Nice jacket could be better

Haven’t worn jacket in field yet. The feeling of jacket seems nice I like the pockets , also like the heat dumps that they have in armpits. What I don’t like about it ,that I know is going to drive me nuts is around the wrists it’s super sloppy I can see wind and rain getting in through the sleeves and potentially making a guy colder . Yes I can wear gloves to help prevent it but I’m not a guy that likes to wear gloves. You would think for a $300+ jacket they could have put some Velcro around the wrists to tighten that up and prevent wind and water getting in there. First lite has a jacket very comparable and it does have the wrist tightening strap. So might still just switch it over. Other than that seems like a jacket I would like .

Great Backpack

This backpack is perfect for bowhunting and has thought through all of the details for when you are in a tree stand, only have one hand available, trying to minimize movement and noise, etc. I highly recommend this pack.

I was so excited when ordering

I’m a small, short girlie. I have ordered and tried on almost every different brand of hunting apparel they have for women. Pants have always been too big and too long, in the smallest size available! I read through SEVERAL reviews on the cadence pants in relation to others in similar sizing, with nothing but good things to say. I’m a 28/29 in inseam and 23/24” waist. I’ve tried youth boys too! Nothing fits and these were no different. Very sad women don’t have much of a range in this category to pick from. Very disappointed w/ my outcome
