I got this for my

I got this for my fiancée who says it fits very well and is very warm but stains so easily. I’ve never seen anything like it. Salt dust? Unwashable stain. Rain? Stain. It’s by far and away her favorite jacket and the quality is great so I gave it four stars but be mindful the fabric just eats whatever touches it and never lets it back out.

everything about the jacket i love accidentally stuck my foot in a hole while in a pond and dunked my hand under water in 6 degree weather and stayed completely dry with the hudson jacket and blizzard gtx gloves unfortunately though it does run a little big the xl is a little to large for my liking but the large fits to snug

Duck hunting in SASK in Rain

I picked this up as I was headed to Saskatchewan for early fall hunt in a rainy season. Worked perfectly, not to warm, absolutely dry particularly when erecting blinds and putting out decoys in the morning.

Traverse Gloves

I have been through multiple pairs of these gloves. They fit great, they are lightweight, and warm. I tend to abuse my gear, so they eventually show some wear. For type of glove they are they have held up decently.

When weather gets cold and wet

I wore out my old gear and it was time to purchase new under layering products. I decided to purchase the Core Merino 330 Hoodie as my late season format and was I impressed! It work quit well in walking out to my deer stand in the morning with a lighter layer over the top for the long walk. Then once at my stand it was bundle up time and never found a need to leave the stand all day. Sitka continues to define the optimal products for each and ever use. I also used this product for ice fishing and was very pleased with the results! Thanks again for great products! I can't wait for next season with waterfowl hunting to see how this will perform in the blind!

Seriously Wind Proof

Live in Michigan. Wore this jacket every day this winter. We have had a brutal cold windy winter. Gusts up to 40mph, so it really got put to the test. This jacket completely takes wind factor out of the equation. Wind always cuts the hardest in the cold and this kept my body heat in and the wind out. Very comfortable, great look, great performance and durability. I’m 6’ 195lbs muscular build. Between L and XL. I went Large and still fits a hoodie underneath.

Great carry on bag.

This bag is the perfect size for a carry on bag. It’s very lightweight and durable. The handles are in the right places when it comes time to put it up in the overhead compartment of a plane and it’s soft enough to be able to squeeze into the the tighter overhead compartments that some planes have. The zippers are heavy duty and work great. The bag is somewhat waterproof so if you do get caught in the rain or snow getting in or out of the airport the inside of the bag stays dry. I’ve dragged this bag through rain and snow and have not had anything get wet inside.

I am 5'11 that weighs

I am 5'11 that weighs anywhere between 210-230 with broad shoulders and a muscular build. Anything smaller than the 3xl would have definitely felt snug up top, but would have been good at the bottom. I don't find the bottom too loose like others have stated. Keeps wind out very well. My only gripe is the zipper. . . it likes to back off a hair when done up fully and can catch your chin or beard hairs. Otherwise no complaints.

Overall fit

Coat is warm as expected, but the fit is bad. I’m 6’4, 240 lbs and in relative good shape. Muscular, lean build. Fit in shoulders and arms is perfect. However, I could swim in the stomach area. Personally feel, especially in this price point, you should have fitting options for taller, leaner builds. Not all 2xl customers are fat asses. Everything else i have from Sitka made for the upper body fits far better than this. Kinda disappointed.

The zipper runs diagonally. . . do not like that at all. Too small for the size I ordered. . . so people need to order one size larger. Quality is so so. . . frankly I expected higher standards but I have been cured!
