This quarter zip has been a fantastic purchase. I’ve got a lot of use out of it. It is very lightweight and nice for warmer climates that still need a little bit of a long sleeve.
I bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. She is not a hunter but wears it every chance she gets. She says it lightweight and warm. The fabric is soft and itch free.

Was good fit, however I am a little salty I didn’t get sticker with any of my purchases as a pro member. Good fit, true to size. Very warm, did not attract deer! Figured getting Sitka camo, that would have made the deer flock towards me lol!
Its pretty heavy for a baselayer, but it will be great for late season hunts when my lighter layers just dont add quite enough warmth. I wish the sleeves were just a bit longer (i'm 6'9", 270lbs).
The Sitka Hudson Bib is outstanding for cold-weather hunts. It’s warm without being bulky, blocks wind and moisture really well, and still allows great mobility. The fit is comfortable with room to layer with the gradient pant
Everything about it feels durable and well thought out, from the pockets to the zippers. Price is high, but the performance makes it worth it. Great piece of gear.
I’ve used an older Sitka jacket for years and hunted some brutal spots and it’s never let me down- except in the rain. After a particularly nasty hunt in wintery mix conditions I decided I needed to upgrade. And I couldn’t be happier I did. This jacket is smaller, warmer, packs down nicely, and most importantly- is waterproof and wind proof.
I wore these on several hunts this year in temps from the teens to the low 30’s. My legs stayed warm. When I got too warm, like going inside, I’d just zip them off easy peasy. No need to even take my boots off. Love them!
I’m an athletic build (215lbs/34. 5” waist) with the quads to match. I bring this up because I have had issues with Sitka pants, and others, fitting. The L in these pants fit as I envision they should—fitting to the lower body as an under layer,
but not constricting to cause discomfort. they have the an integral belt to snug up(which I have to do). They have the versatility to be worn as a standalone item, but when layered will extend your clothing’s temperature range capability. I wish I’d have owned these years ago.
No room in upper arms and chest. Way too binding to do any work. Most be cut for women, or design failed to account for bulk of insulation, wind-blocker, and Berber Pyle. Not sure if even extra large would have enough freedom of movement, I’m 175 lbs, 5’10”.
Super durable material, doesn’t pick up burrs or snag on brush. The extra liner is great for the colder days. Even when it did get a little warm it was breathable enough that it never felt wet. I hunt upland a ton, and switch between this and the grinder pant. They’re similar but these are insulated. Only reason I gave them 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because even though they are the same size these seemed to run longer than the grinder pant. Also, I prefer the slightly darker brown of the grinder than this one. It’s just a shade lighter. But that’s personal preference so I can’t knock that.
These have become my go to in any type of cold weather hunting situation. I really like the zip option for them morning that start off cold but warms up by the time the hunt is over. This is a fast way to cool down without having to take all your gear off just to remove a thermal.
