Ambient 75 Hoodie

The Sitka Ambient 75 Hoodie is an incredibly versatile midlayer that delivers excellent warmth without adding bulk, making it perfect for active pursuits in cool conditions. Its breathable fabric and athletic fit provide great comfort and freedom of movement, whether you're on the hunt or on the move.

Good fit

This is the first vest I’ve found that can actually fit tight to my body like I’ve been looking for. Makes for a great run and gun best, and easy to crawl in and not lose calls. The box call pocket also can fit the old style thermacell.

So Robust

These waders are lightweight yet robust. You can tell straight away how abrasion resistant they are just by touching the material. I’ve only worn them in 2 feet of snow but looking forward to some waterfowl hunting this spring.

I enjoy having pants which allow me to set on stand longer and not get run out from insects.

Great wader pants

The tapering on these pants makes them very easy to wear with waiters. They are well-made and very warm. Highly recommend.

Solid jacket

Worn this week in Patagonia to hunt red stag where everything has a thorn on it. Super impressed by the durability. Kept me super dry during heavy rain……it is gortex though. Would recommend go athletic build. If you’re fat, don’t buy - it would be a tight fit.

Technical Gear that Works - Equinox Guard System

The Equinox Guard Glove used with the hooded top (with face mask) and trousers are the perfect system to keep the chiggers, mosquitos, and ticks from negatively impacting your hunt. I used these during spring turkey season, and early fall deer season in Mississippi. Flawless performance. In May I made a 45 minute walk through our property to check an item and when I returned I had a tick attached to my kidney area. I had just used the Equinox Guard system from 15 March to 1 May with zero tick bites.

Bought the black leather for around town and work, like it so much I bought the cloth top for around the farm. Love them both, light weight, a little tight to slip on, but then they fit like a glove!

Don’t let the weight of this jacket fool you. It’s incredibly warm and comfortable. It is a great outer layer in mild to cool weather and the perfect layer under the Stratus 2. 0 jacket. If you’re on the fence, but this jacket, you won’t be disappointed.

Best pants ever

These pants are the best out there in my opinion. I wear these pants every day on the ranch working and they are my go to for hunting also. They fit perfectly and are built to last. I love the built in removable knee pads as I am always working on something from my knees and are the best when having to make a crawling stock while hunting. I would recomend these for anyone as the are my favorite pants.

Storage

Very comfortable, the side back and thicker straps give it more support so that it rests easier around me and over my shoulders unlike the other harness model Sitka has. However I wish his had the third storage pouch like the other model.

Absolutely love this boot. Where it every day and haven’t had any issues with them yet!
