Could not get them on my feet. Way too tight around the top. I doubt they could ever stretch enough to make it easy to get on. Nice looking but they need work. Definitely not a slip on boot.
My only complaint was the shipping, probably due to my anticipation of wearing it! It has been my go to hoodie when heading outside to walk the dogs when temps are under 30 degrees. I spend most of my fishing on the rivers chasing fish all winter and this hoodies is a great fit. I adjust my layers depending on what the expected temps will be. When in the teens I layer with a puff jacket and a turtle neck. This combo keeps me comfortable and warm. It has held up well and also does a great job of breaking the wind. I do cover it with a rain coat if the weather gets wet. It does have some water proofing to it - when it is drizzling or lighter rain conditions. I highly recommend this hoodie if you spend anytime outdoors and need something warm, dry, and to help cut the wind. Thank you Sitka!
I’m very happy with this product! Great price, fast no hassle shipping. Great quality product, fits perfectly true to size.
I would recommend it to a Friend.
This season I had picked up the Sitka Callers Glove for my waterfowl season, and it has already more than paid for itself. If you hunt ducks or geese in the central flyway, you know that gear failure isn't just an inconvenience—it’s a safety issue.
The Ultimate Test:
The real test came on a -2°F morning this January. While navigating some slick terrain, I took a spill on the ice and ended up submerging my hand completely underwater. In those temperatures, that's usually a hunt-ending (and potentially dangerous) mistake. However, thanks to the technical construction of this glove, it performed miracles. Despite the dunking, the material held up and kept my hand functional and shielded from the brutal wind chill until I could make it back to my buddies truck. In that moment, I wouldn't have traded them for any other brand on the market.
Performance & Versatility:
• Waterfowl Specific: The design is perfect for those who need to maintain dexterity for calling and shooting without sacrificing protection.
• The Perfect Combo: For maximum warmth and moisture management, I highly recommend layering these with the Sitka Traverse Gloves. The combination provides a versatile system that can handle everything from "brisk" to "arctic. "
Final Verdict:
Sitka gear is an investment, but when you're face-down in a frozen marsh at sub-zero temperatures, you realize exactly what you're paying for. If you need a glove that won't quit even after a total soak in freezing water, the Callers Glove is it.
Bought this for my husband for this turkey season. So far it is a better fit than the turkey vest he has used in the past. It holds his calls and other items he is storing.
Solid piece of base layer. I actually bought 3 of these. One of me and one for each of my sons. It is a great base for layering and wicking to keep dryer and warm during movement across the terrain. I'd certainly go heavier weight if sitting in a tree stand. . . but this is perfect for the stalk and tracking.
This hoodie fits exactly how it should—not too tight, not baggy, just right. It’s seriously warm and does a great job cutting through wind, which makes a big difference when you’re out in it for a while.
It’s comfortable enough to wear all day but built solid enough to handle rough use. No fluff—just a dependable hoodie that does what it’s supposed to do and does it well.
Love this jacket. Would never wear it hunting but wear it all the time to go out to dinner and stuff. Windproof, warm, and looks good 👍. Pockets are lined with heavy fleece which is very nice. Stitching on the inside is lined with camo which is unnecessary but a thoughtful touch.
I am to say the least a little disappointed in these pants. They feel very cheap compared to all of thee other Sitka I own. They almost feel like they are made of linen instead of the material that I am used to from sitka
Incinerator Jacket is all you need for late season hunts.
This Jacket is awesome. Very warm and comfortable. Perfect for cold late season hunts when sitting in the snow or the sun. Works great for still hunting too! If you start working up a sweat that means your hunting to fast. Sitka Gear makes some of the best clothing out there.
My brother had this glove and I was jealous of how it gripped on the palms with a leather-ish type of material that is still very dexterous and breathable. Runs a little big in my opinion so I opted for the size Large.
Very warm, hat and beanie combined basically. Gives you the functionality of a hat, blocking sun from your eyes when looking up to shoot and also giving you that extra warmth and wind protection. Great for sunny, cold and windy days.
It’s such a shame that Sitka has a small selection of women’s clothes. These are a nice weight but they are loose around the waist and super long on me. I’m 5 2” and curvy. The women’s long Johns from first lite are a better quality and fit. I continue to be super disappointed in Sitka women’s pants.
I wear this jacket for both hunting and regular activities. It fits well and is true to size. I plan to wear it turkey hunting soon. Quality is excellent and it’s lightweight but keeps me warm. Would purchase again!
