Great lightweight rain jacket
Packable, durable for its weight, not afraid to go through light brush. Keeps me dry, does not wet through. Fits true to size so if you want this for late season over heavy layers buy a size up. For early to mid season it fits fine.

Warm, but some improvements can be made
This is a solid baselayer/sweater that keeps me warm. I could just wear this alone at 40-45 degrees with no issues. That being said, I think 2 improvements can be made: * The length can be longer both in the front and the back. I have a bit of a gut, and I sense that the front of the garment just isn't long enough to be comfortable. It should probably be about 2-3 inches longer in the front and back really. This would allow the baselayer to be tucked in comfortably if desired. * The front pocket is awesome, however it doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the garment. I think it should. . . but perhaps that's a personal preference.

Light Weight Warmth
It is incredible how thin and light weight the Kelvin Aerolite jacket is, but what is even more impressive is the consistent warmth it delivers! Although Montana has had a mild winter, there have still been many days below freezing. Through all conditions I've experienced with this jacket I've been comfortable wearing it. Highly recommend the Kelvin Aerolite for anyone looking for a light weight game changer.

Fanatic Bibs are worth the coin - 6ft 205lb Appalachian mountains
Had the old celsius bibs from 2008, had the old stratus bibs and jacket from 2012, got the new stratus bibs and jacket last year. . . finally dumped the coin into the fanatic bibs, jacket and vest. Got em on sale but even if I had to do it over at full price I'd do it. This stuff is the real deal for 5 degrees and 15mph wind. No more merino, timberline, puffy pants, puffy jacket and stratus Michelin man for me. Pack it to the bottom of the tree, cool down for 5 minutes and put this stuff on and you WILL be warm.

Both a niche and general piece
The jacket fills both a niche and general purpose at the same time. It's a niche because all it really does is block the wind. There's not really any real insulation in it aside from the fleece liner. But, most of the time, that's all you really need, especially paired with a vest. So although it's a niche garment, it's also kind of a do-all for mild to cool conditions. If you're going to be in extreme cold, or layering, this probably isn't the piece for you. The sleeves are too tapered to wear as a shell, and it's a bit heavy to really be more than a stand alone piece anyway. That and the fact that the fabric is a bit stiff. Where I would wear this: on a plane; riding around a truck or SUV on an antelope hunt; in Africa; sitting around a camp fire having a cold one; on a spring bear hunt. Where I would not wear this: sheep hunting; goat hunting; extreme cold hunts; hunts where weight and/or space is important. I do really like that they got rid of the hood for this special addition - it saves on bulkiness. And I like that the special addition supports a good cause. The chest and torso fit pretty true to size, but the sleeves are disproportionately long, and a bit narrow for my taste. I am 5'10" and 190 pounds. It is not my favorite Sitka piece - I think that goes to my old Kelvin Active jacket. But it is a quality piece that performs a certain function very well.

Great fit and function
I own three Traverse Hoodies in different patterns. It’s the perfect weight for outer garment use in mild-to-cold weather and also great as an intermediate layer for frigid temperatures. The hood conforms to and turns with your head without blocking your vision. The slick material is possibly the quietest I’ve ever owned. Perfect for bow hunting. The stitching quality is superb. Can’t say enough good things about this hoodie. Get yourself one and you’ll be very happy with it.
