Great piece. Not very durable.

This is one of my favorite pieces for hunting and everyday wear. But man they are not as durable anymore. You look at them wrong and they'll develop snags and fray's.

I’ve also been running the Sitka Equinox Hoodie and gloves alongside the Guard LT Pants, and they’ve been just as impressive. The biggest standout again—bug protection. No mosquitoes, no ticks, no biting flies getting through. That alone makes a huge difference when you’re hunting in warmer conditions, whether that was down in Florida or back here in Ohio. Both the hoodie and gloves are lightweight and breathable, so you’re not overheating, even when temps start climbing. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day, and they don’t restrict movement at all—everything just works the way it should in the field. Between the pants, hoodie, and gloves, it’s a system that really shines for spring and warm-weather hunts. Keeps you protected, keeps you comfortable, and lets you stay focused on the hunt instead of constantly dealing with bugs.

Guard LT Pant

I’ve had the chance to run the Guard LT Pants from Sitka on a turkey hunt down in Florida and again in Ohio, and I’ve got to say—they’ve seriously impressed me. First thing that stood out was the insect protection. Between both hunts, I didn’t deal with ticks, bugs, or anything getting through to my skin or base layers, which is a huge win, especially in warmer, high-pressure environments. The fit is spot on—comfortable without being bulky—and they move really well whether you’re sitting, crawling, or covering ground. They’re lightweight, breathable, and ideal for spring conditions or any warm-weather hunt where you still need protection without overheating. Overall, they just perform. Comfortable, functional, and built for exactly what they’re intended to do. Definitely a solid piece of gear for anyone chasing birds or hunting in bug-heavy areas.

Good pants, could use some cargo pockets

Overall I really like these pants. Purchased to keep the spring tics off of me for a sping bear hunt in Montana. Ive worn them this spring in Wisconsin and have had no tics on me. When Ive worn other pants Ive had 2 to 3 tics when in the tall grass. I wish they had additional cargo pockets or a phone pocket but its not a deal breaker.

Only wear on the coldest days as this thing will burn you up!!! Sat all day in sub-freezing temps and stayed toasty all day. You get what you pay for and my Sitka Fanatic and Stratos sets are absolutely phenomenal!

Awesome Kicks!!!!

Bought these for casual wear, escpecially on wet days, and really like the fit and finish on these shoes. I personally wouldn't wear them hunting but they will definitely keep your feet dry on rainy days. Comfortable but a little awkward to put on at first with the tight neoprene at the top. Got that figured out pretty quickly though!

Overall this is great, its lightweight and works as it should. It fits true to size. My one and only complaint is that the internal leg gaiters were changed in a bad way. They were shortened to barely above the ankle. This was done due to them being a hot weather pant and the presumption that people do not wear over the calf socks with their boots year round. Well I do. These are designed to accommodate extremely short socks. The downside is that I have fold down my everyday socks in order to use the internal leg gaiters. If the leg gaiters were left alone to match the Equinox Guard, they would still work for my situation, and that would not effect anyone who decides to wear shorter boots/shorter socks. They could still use the pants as intended. 6 additinal inches of extremely lightweight leg gaiters would not generate too much heat or be cumbersome to anyone wearing short socks. If you're like me and wear over the calf socks all year, these pants are not for you. They have baby-sized internal leg gaiters that do not accommodate tall socks. I would say it is a design flaw because full length internal leg gaiters would not change the purpose, fit, or function of the pants. The re-designing of the leg gaiters however, does make them unusable to us tall sock-wearing people.

Fanatic bib

These bibs are super warm. I easily get over heated during a walk in. Usually dress down to a thin base layer, so I have to be selective on the days to wear them here in Alabama. I have the bibs and the vest in optifade cover. Being left handed I hope Sitka releases a lefty fanatic jacket in the cover pattern.

Mountain croc

I have worn crocs at camp and around the house for years and between that tread and the slightly taller heal wo 4wd mode engaged, these feel so much more sturdy on uneven terrain. Going out to the bathroom in the dark while camping seems way less intimidating!

Tiptop pants

Great light weight pants. Little extra length which is perfect for low footwear and No issues for bulky boots. A side pocket for phone would work better.

Awesome Vest

I use this vest in black when wearing plain clothes in a law enforcement duty. It's comfortable in a variety of temperatures and conditions and is very durable. It is easy to clean and looks brand new still. Much like the full jacket (which I use for hunting frequently), the Jetstream vest is an awesome product.

Great hunting hat

Have this hat in optifade camo. Hunt low country of South Carolina and it works great from hot August thru mild October. Reason for purchase wanted a darker, greener camo color for denser environs.

I originally bought the slacks

I originally bought the slacks for my son. He liked them so much, I went ahead and ordered the shorts and he loves those too. Great fit, sturdy construction and very comfortable. I would love to see more color selections.

They are a bit snug, very thin, super comfortable, most importantly kept the ticks off. I’m 5’6, 190lbs, 32” inseem. I got the 36 regular.
