This is a great pant for everyday work in the field or forest. Stays dry and is warmer than I thought it would be on its own. Not the quietest pant if stealth is necessary, but there is gear built for that prupose.
This is the perfect jacket for early season hunting. Extremely light weight. Not too heavy for early season warm days and perfect for early season fronts.
One of the most comfortable hats I have ever worn I wear it every time I go Pheasant and Deer Hunting I have the hat for 3 seasons now and shows no wear
This is my second core merino 220 half zip I have purchased. Great for a warm under layer for hunting or the golf course. Very versatile for many cool outings.
I absolutely love me Core merino 330 bottoms. I am a full time fishing guide that fishes winter Steelhead on the Olympic Peninsula where it can be cold and wet. With my merino 330 bottoms I am never cold. The perfect piece to add to your cold weather clothing arsenal.
Bought this jacket for my boyfriend he loves it. Definitely not durable for going through blackberries or anything that can rip it. But it’s a super warm jacket great for snow. I bought him the large tall because usually things are too small for the length of his arm and torso but this jacket fits great!!
I have worn these pants a couple times and they are very comfortable. The only two issues I have are the zipper is a little short, could be longer. I am a 33 waist so I ordered a 34. The 34 is loose around the waist and causes the waist band to bunch up. The pant is a great fit everywhere else so I am keeping them. I have done a couple hikes around my local outdoor archery range and had zero issues.
The Core Lightweight Crew LS is an essential high-performance base layer. It wicks moisture perfectly, dries incredibly fast, and the athletic fit allows for total range of motion. Lightweight but durable, it’s the ultimate piece for staying dry and comfortable during high-exertion activities.
Traverse Jacket has been a perfect layering choice as a chilly early season layer by itself with a core lightweight long sleeve underneath. Or it pairs perfectly under my Fanatic bibs on much colder sits. Nice and quiet, perfect for saddle hunting. XXL is the perfect size (for me, anyway) 6’2” 240# and it’s loose enough that I can wear my Sitka base layers under it with plenty of room and it’s not too bulky if I throw my Status or Fanatic jacket over it.
Awesome hoodie!! Lightweight and great fit! Love the added gloves and swing of this hoodie. Just like all my other Sitka gear, it’s just awesome and great gear!
Fits great! I use it to carry multiple optics to include laser range finders, binos, etc. it feels very well thought out and tested like tactical gear.
I bought one of these and liked so much. I had to buy a couple others in other colors. It’s a very warm sweatshirt, but not very bulky. Size L is a good fit for me.
All Sitka jackets have never let me down. I wear them out and buy more. The biggest reason is because they have what fits me best. I need long and tall and athletic build and that’s this. Even if I didn’t hunt I would want their tall jackets.
Well designed, singular function gear- not for me.
I use a range of Sitka "modularized" gear including waist and full backpacks and bino harnesses. I appreciate them for their design and durability. While the Turkey Belt is a well thought out piece of gear, its entire configuration is organized around one piece of essential turkey hunting tackle- the box call. The side loaded box call "cavity" takes up 80% of the main compartment's carry capacity. If you are looking for gear dedicated pack to the safe transport of your box call- this is it. If you are looking for a waist pack to fill a general hunting needs- to stow and carry a variety of small hunting items and gear, buy a pack and cushined seat.
These are probably my new favorite socks winter socks. I plan on buying a couple more pairs when the weather turns again. They are very warm, mitigate my feet sweat really well, provided plenty of plush comfort when wearing them alol day and aren’t scratchy like some of my older wool socks were. They aren’t overly bulky so they fit into my boots perfectly. My only regret is that I didn’t buy any sooner.
These things are absolutely amazing. They were loose enough that I can still bend down, squat, and move without any issues but still tight enough they layered extremely well with no pressure points or anything from the fabric bunching up under my clothes. The foot cuffs are a genius idea and don’t dig into my feet at all when I’m wearing my boots. It also keeps the bibs from bunching up as I put my waders on or even going into my boots under my brush pants. I bought this to wear during the winter trapping season and it was invaluable. Kept me warm without being overly bulking allowing me to break ice, drive stakes or whatever I needed to do to keep my trap line up. The straps are comfortable and keep the bibs in the proper position regardless of the position you yourself wind up being. The zipper makes going to the bathroom fairly easy when layered up as well
