Nice but kind of loud

I purchased this jacket online without trying it on. My first thought upon opening the package was wow this thing might be too loud. I bought it for a possible outer layer for the early season then a mid layer for the late season. It’s about as loud as I can tolerate. I have not yet hunted out of it but i do think it’ll be okay. I will say the coat seems very nice for scouting or hunting with a gun. Very lightweight for the warmth. I do not regret my purchase as it will be a good piece to my system, but if you're looking for an early season bowhunting outer layer, this might not be it. I ended up splurging on the stratus. Also has tight arm holes. Not bad but noticeable

This is one of the warmest and lightest hoodies I have ever owned, would 10/10 recommend this for anyone as a early to mid season outer layer or even a mid to late season inner layer. This hoodie does not disappoint!

it fits great on me and works good. How ever why is this fleece 200 dollars?? Its not even warm i wore it on a early October duck hunt and i was freezing. Could have made it warmer or drop the price below 150. Why are you pricing your self out if the market? You could have a superior hunting line.

I've owned several pieces always honing in on versatile pieces. Light warm, breaks the wind, fights light rain, packable. . . plus I can comfortably wear a puffy under it if needed (650 fp). I'm 6ft, 220lbs normal fit is XL and XL fits great!

Perfect for an evening out or hike

I have a large. I like a little looser fit for a sweatshirt fee. Surprised about how warm it was. Cheat Zipper goes low for added breathability. Front packet very large for both hands and a turkey call.

Great mid-layer for any hunt or everyday wear

I have had this hoodie for 3 months now and have worn it almost everyday. It has held up great after many washes and I have no complaints. It is the perfect mid-layer and keeps you very warm. This is a must buy for any hunter.

What a great hoodie!!

Size was alittle different for me on this, generally a large but this XL fit perfect. The feel, fit, usefulness is unmatched. I wear this thing all of the time. Great piece of gear.

Size was too small

I like the quality and material. However I have ordered medium in multiple other items that fit perfectly. Medium in this specific item was extremely tight in the armpit and waist.

The Sitka Alpha Fleece Hoodie is warm, lightweight, and extremely comfortable. It layers well under jackets and moves quietly while hunting. The fit is great, and the fleece is soft but durable. Perfect for cool mornings and late-season hunts.

Works great for early season ducks in 50-70 degrees. Gets warm walking to my spot but it's perfect once I get setup and cool down. Desperately needs a chest pocket!! Plan on using it under my boreal jacket in late season. 190lbs at 5'10" with wide shoulders, XL fits great.

I received my Alpha Fleece Hoodie about a month ago and have already used it on multiple upland hunts and a rifle whitetail hunt. The piece performed very well in both scenarios and is durable and warm for its relatively light weight. Only reason it is not getting 5 stars is the fit. For reference, I am 5' 8" and weigh 175 lbs. I ordered a large in this piece as that is the size of essentially all of my Sitka clothing. It is little more snug in the shoulders than I would like, but I know the next size up would be too big. However, it didn't take long to adjust and it is now a piece I will be using very often and would recommend to others!

Used for upland hunting in southwest PA

This is 10/10 the nicest pullover in my collection. Great when it’s cold with a base layer on cold morning hikes thru the field and perfect with just a tee shirt underneath in the evenings. Not the greatest for thorns and jaggers I have a few spots where the material caught and snagged but it’s super comfortable.

I used this on a recent elk hunt to Montana. It fit perfect over my other sitka layering providing plenty of warmth during the late October Montana weather. This is a very durable hoodie.

Over priced

It's a nice hoodie and comfortable but was expecting it to be a little more at $200 It's way overpriced! Theyre prices anymore are just insane.
