Great Insulation Piece

Very warm for the weight and thickness of the jacket. Pretty pack-able layer as well. Really breathable but still retains heat. I'm 5'11" 185lbs and the large fits me well; a little loose and not too tight. If you're looking for a tight fitting insulation layer you might consider a medium.

Light and versatile

Super cozy. Wish the outer material was a little more durable but it’s comfort and temperature versatile make up for it.

Comfortable but slightly big

I’m a 6 ft 185 lb guy and ordered a large. This product was very comfortable but slightly big/baggy in the stomache area.

Not to warm but also not to thin, perfect extra layer for chilly mornings but warmer afternoons. Good quiet material.

Great piece but need a large tall. Regular large is fairly short on torso. Sleeve length is good and general fit is true to size besides torso being short in my opinion.

Amazing product

You can’t go wrong with the entire ambient line. The 100 hooded jacket is a piece that I use for multiple kits, and it has performed flawlessly. This is my second one! Only complaint I have is if you were to catch it on something it might rip. It has not happened to me yet , but it’s such a lightweight piece there is that chance. I recommend it to anyone on the fence.

Purchased this for an African safari. It worked perfectly as outerwear in my layering system for the cool mornings and nights.

Sitka stands by their products! I had a zipper failure on a previous jacket that I sent in for warranty repair. It was not repairable so the offered to send me a similar priced product at no cost to me. That is customer service, standing behind their products and will keep me coming back!

I know this is an awesome piece due to reviews and I own an ambient 200 jacket. Just wish they offered 2X tall of 3xl because I would love to confidently buy this piece without the thought of it not fitting

One of my favorite jackets

One of my favorite jackets of all time. Very breathable and is excellent for cool hikes and trips where are are active, while keeping you dry and warm.

Versatile hoody

This is my second Ambient hoody, I had the original half zip first. The full zip with hand pockets is so much better. I'm 6' 190-200 lbs depending on the time of year and need an XL in all Sitka jackets because my shoulders don't fit in a large.

Lightweight, comfortable and warm. Large size for me is more of a relaxed fit (athletic build). My new favorite mid-layer. . . while it's not a brush buster, the material is pliable making it easy to wear over a hoodie or under a coat. Even when not using it to hunt I find myself wearing it around the house to lounge in.

Lightweight Yet Very Warm

I purchased this jacket for my husband, for an Alaskan cruise in May. Temperature was low 50's and the jacket provided the perfect level of warmth and wind protection. The fleece inside is very soft. The jacket is light enough that he could roll it up and slide it under the bungee cords on his backpack. Size was spot-on.

Perfect mid layer

This jacket has supreme comfort in mind. It’s very light, packable and doesn’t restrict movement. It’s good for weather between 35 (moving) and 60 (stationary) degrees as a stand alone jacket. It would need layering below 35 if stagnant and would be too hot at 60 if moving. Great every day and hunting piece.

The Ambient 100 H Jkt is the perfect and was exactly was I was looking for… an outer layer for just need a little… a little wind pro & a little insulation and packable when you want to forget about it in your pack until sunset. The fit was perfect for me 6’ 215lb I went XL.

Perfect For Turkey Season

Bought this for turkey season here in Canada, mornings can be super cold then very hot by 11am. Bought 1 size up to put lots of layers underneath then strip down to just the jacket as it warms up.

Stratus Gear

This is my second set of the stratus Gear I strictly bow hunt andhave used it early. Fall to late winter. I’ve always had great luck very comfortable bow hunting with I will say true to size 5‘11“ 250 pounds with two XL top XL bottoms works great able to put plenty of base layers on have the incinerator set and the fanatic set but this is my go to all around Gear

Well made light weight jacket.

Would haven given five stars but outer material is pretty thin and color is off from picture shown on website. It is more of a rust color than a brown.
