Love this jacket!

Got this jacket for afternoon sits on those warmer than normal afternoons during the rut. Even with wind blowing, this jacket kept me warm. Fits great, only complaint is it is a little shorter than I initially expected.

The ambient jacket is a great jacket for those mid season cool mornings and it’s extremely packable for when it warms up!

I had the pullover camo

I had the pullover camo and thought I would try the full jacket. I use the jacket for traveling around Europe, as well as a base layer for Alpine skiing. This fabric is truly amazing for warmth to weight and wicking. Sitka…make a sleeping bag in this fabric!!

My new favorite light weight jacket. Super warm interior material and soft comfortable exterior fabric. Can’t wait to get another one for casual wear.

Warm but not very durable

Keeps you nice and warm. Great for windy days. Stay away from anything that may snag or rip it. Zipper is also broke on it already so it's pretty much garbage now.

Great addition to the layers!

I have nothing bad to say about the jacket. It was purchased as an additional layer to my system for a cold winter elk hunt in NE Oregon. It performed as expected and added additional warmth during my long sittings. The fleece is soft and warm. It also brought me luck as I tagged out on day three.

Thought it would be somewhat heavier or thicker, if you hold it up you can see light through it. Definitely an early season coat or use it for layering.

Not warm, not worth the money. should not be called a jacket, sur eif its 55 degrees out and you have a base layer its fine, but a slight breeze cuts right thru it.

Would definitely recommend to anyone. The soft material is an amazing mid layer. It’s stood up to all the tests I have put it through this whitetail season.

Didn’t think I would love

Didn’t think I would love this jacket as much as I do used it 3 weeks straight on my last trip temps for 22°-55°F never took this off great while hiking or glassing.

Great piece for sure

Very comfortable

I got a large, it fits a little larger than I’d like but is fine. If I wanted it to be a specific layering/hunting piece, I would get a medium. I wear it out in public often so I didn’t want something too tight. I haven’t worn it much yet, it’s warm but not great in the wind. I would probably suggest it from 55- 65 degrees with nothing underneath.

Exceeds expectations

When I first looked in to Sitka, The price tags was concerning. I found my self wondering why on earth someone would pay that much for camo. When I unboxed it (even though knowing that it’s a layering system) I thought the material was thin, and was concerned about its durability. I went on a Colorado Elk hunt this past week, and absolutely abused this gear, put it through its paces, and I have to say, I have never been more impressed. The average temp this week has been around the 20° mark, while being colder in the mornings, with up to a foot of snow in some of the draws. Never once did I stop and think that I was freezing, or was I conceded that I was going to rip this gear on a tree branch, or I was going to split a seam while crouching. All and all the Sitka system has impressed me, and exceeded any expectations I could have set for it. 10/10 recommended.

Awesome jacket. Fits well, and is comfortable!

Perfect Mid Layer

Perfect mid layer. Combined with core lightweight hoodie, mountain evo jacket, and hyper down jacket has kept me comfortable from low 20s to high 80s this season. It’s surprisingly warm though, I generally don’t need the down unless it’s below 40F.

Ambient Hoodie Durability

I purchased this and was originally very pleased. I wore it daily under my grindstone jacket and the combination was extremely warm and durable. Using this product further I was seeing early signs of unusual wear and tear. I wore the Hudson bib over the hoodie and was dismayed when I saw the front material tearing apart and pilling beyond repair. When notifying customer service they told me to wash the hoodie and it would go away, this did not help at all. I eventually returned the hoodie to my local sheets and was sad I had to get rid of the product.
