I like the concept behind the ambient technology. i own the ambient 200 and 75. The fit on both of these garments are spot on. As for the Ambient 100 vest. it is way too small. I purchased the 2xl and the fit is more like a large. The vest needs to have more length and girth in the chest area.

Super lightweight yet still packs

Super lightweight yet still packs all the heat. This is a great layering vest. It feels like it runs a little small and is not intended to go over the top of a hoodie. Fits much better underneath.

Looks nice enough to wear for work but works great for hunting.

Quality - meets Sitka expectations

I have the Ambient 100 jacket and decided the vest would be a needed addition to my hunting gear. I look forward to using next fall out west.

Very comfortable

I use this vest over the last hunting season, I was very impressed how warm it was, how light it felt and I pretty much put it on in the morning and never took it off.

Nice vest.

Vest is light, soft and quiet. You can feel warmth when trying it on. I’m 5’11 210 and XL fit snug especially at arm holes. Could fit a heavy base layer under it. If you want multiple layers under neath definitely size up.

Ambient 100 Vest

The vest runs small. I am 6’ 175 lbs. I ordered a large and it fit very snug. The return process was pretty simple and I have an XL on the way. I wish Sitka had better help with sizing on the website. I would suggest including what size the model is wearing and his height and weight. The vest looked cool though and I’m excited to receive my xl.

Exceptional best, very thin but

Exceptional best, very thin but keeps wind out. Got a large and is a little snug, I am 5’ 7”, 185, zipper is hard to use. Hopefully will loosen up after use. Probably should have ordered a XL. Well made and looks good.

Great Lightweight Vest

This vest is lightweight and yet very warm. I got it in black for every day use. Morning starting in the 50s and warm up to the upper 70s and I can comfortably wear it most all day long. It breeze very well yet keeps me warm in the chill of the morning. It is live as a feather too and a good looking vest. Probably need to get one of these in camo to hunt with. Would I bite it again, heck yes!

Great Vest

Love the fit of the XL on my frame. Allows me to either layer it over other items or under a jacket. The warmth is great and it does breathe well.

Quality

I haven’t gotten to use it yet, but plan to take it on my archery bull elk hunt in September and my Spring turkey hunt in a few weeks. It fits great.

Perfect light vest for early season.

I hunt black bear in MN and early September can still be quite warm, even in northern MN. This vest is real light and the perfect camo for the poplar mixed woods I hunt.

My favorite piece of gear.

My favorite piece of gear. Not my only piece. Spend September in public land Elk country and the rest of the time in South Georgia. I wear it often and pack it always! Never without. It’s as technical as the Ambien hoodie, which makes the best spike camp pillow. Probably true to size for millennial and them short shorts wearing people

Ambient Vest

Lightweight and warm which makes it great for the pack. I've worn it under a jacket as a middle layer in colder temps, and as an outer layer over a long sleeve for the not so cold days. Definitely recommend.

Very comfortable. Gives you a little warmth on those chilly but not cold mornings. I am 6. 2 215 ibs. XL was true to size

Very nice light/warm vest. I had a Stratus vest that I wore out hunting and wanted something a little more refined to wear casually. This vest hit the mark. I wear an XL and the Stratus and Dakota vests in XL are a little bigger than the Ambient.

Fits like a large, can't wear over a sweatshirt. As always with Sitka, the quality is there.

Lightweight powerhouse

Awesome vest for layering. Super thin and lightweight, you can easily throw this in your pack and not notice a difference. I was honestly surprised at the added warmth. I threw this on over a core merino 330 and a fanatic jacket on top for whitetail rifle season in PA with temps in high 20s low 30s and I was comfortable. Fanatic bibs were also on which do add some core warmth but regardless this thing is perfect. I’m not a stalking type hunter but I can see this being great while active since it does breathe when you need it to. Top notch as expected from Sitka as always.

It looks great

I like this family of jackets and vest but the sizing has been hit or miss for me. It is warm but not winter more, more of a light fall breezy kind of vest. It looks great on and wears great but again not what I’d wear any time past October.
