Good mid layer addition to wear under the stratus. If couldn’t than 45 recommend this on top of fanatic hoodie under the stratus or fanatic

One of the most under utilized pieces.

If you’re looking to avoid the inevitable sweat fest during high output activity in the mild cold this is a key piece. This with a nice long sleeve base (my favorite is the Sitka merino armor spun) and a pair of light gloves keeps me super comfortable. I just adjust my pace accordingly to keep the sweat at bay.

Ambient Vest

A nice layering piece for mornings that start cool and warm up quickly. Good for wearing under a jacket without adding bulk and then as temps rise, worn as an outer layer when jacket is removed.

I purchased the vest for turkey hunting. The vest is very thin and the quality is so so. It did keep me warmer on colder mornings.

I got this to go under the Stratus Jacket. Perfect. Light, no bulk, warm, looks great. Very happy with this. The amazing attribute is temperature management. Warm when still, air passes through when active so you don’t get too hot.

Super light weight and warm. Pairs great with the fanatic hoody on chilly mornings. It is true to size and it is a must have for chilly mornings. Size large.

Super thin runs small. Very underwhelming for a Sitka product

Poor fit

the vest has no give. Its rigid and does not provide any flexibility. Sizes small as well. I do not recommend this for comfortable layering.

Light, but yet a nice warm layer for those early season morning hunts. I use mine with the Guard Hoodie in the morning. I also plan on using it as a layering option mid to late season. Great job once again Sitka.

Another good addition for whitetail system

Nice addition to my whitetail system. Good for either cool mornings by itself, or a layering piece for when the temp drops.
