Great Everyday Jacket

This jacket is a great every day jacket for the winter months. It's warm and weather resistant. It fits well. My only complaint is the cuffs and the fact the inside causes bunching when worn with and flannel, hemp, or wool type shirts.

I use this as a mid layer under a softshell. It’s perfect when a puffy is too much.

Great layering piece

I love this jacket, it's my go to layering jacket. It doesn't stand up to wind very well but underneath any kind of wind shell it will keep you very warm even into the negatives.

Entire ambient line is a home run. Love the material, feel, warmth, light weight. My favorite Sitka clothing. The 200 jacket is really warm and looks good in solid color.

Great feel, may run a little small

I haven't had an opportunity to really test it for warmth yet, but I think it's going to be a nice layering piece under my Stratus jacket. I started with a Large, which is my normal size, but exchanged it for an XL. The large fit but all i really would have had room to wear under it would be a next to skin type option. I wanted to get a little more than that under it so I went up. It does have some noise to it but being under something else I think it will be fine.

Couch jacket. .

This is awesome not only is it comfortable and it makes me feel like I’m under a blanket sitting on my couch, but it’s warm and it does a really good job at wicking.

Perfect light weight

I bought this a a light liner jacket for my delta wading jacket. It is extemely light and warm for it's performance. It is not. meant for busting brush but it serves its purpose. It also works well under a vest.

Haven’t had a chance to wear it in actual hunting conditions but wore it around town and walking the dogs. Always worn as a mid layer. It is comfortable and the xl tall fits my 6-6, 200 pound frame well.

Expensive but worth it!

Mid weight jacket. I was going to use it as a replacement for a fleece jacket that light weight. I usually wear three layers. I will only need two with this jacket. Very well made and look. Might be a little light colored for duck hunting but might just wear it around the city and buy another one for the hunt.

Terrific jacket

Works great as an outer layer, and looking forward to wearing it under a shell for colder and/or wetter weather. Every word of the Outside magazine review is true. Comfort range is better than down, maybe 10 to 70 degrees F. Handles wind well, and warmth contrasts with how cold any exposed or less protected skin feels. Recommend highly.

It your best product. It if fine but you have so many better products. I settled on another option. Your customer service is however exceptional.

I bought it for a mid layer I have the gradient hoody and Celsius midi and there’s no comparison as far as warmth. Under my stratus jacket I did a 5 hour sit in Pa muzzleloader season 21 degrees and windy. I couldn’t believe how light and warm it is . Buy it you won’t be sorry.

Unique piece

The Ambient line is pretty unique in how light and package, but breathable, quick drying are warm it is. This 200 is a furnace. Pretty much the perfect mid layer if you are hiking hard and then sitting

Ambient 200 XL

The fit and feel is amazing. Barely know you have it on. With that being said, do not wear it as an outer layer, it will rip on anything it touches. I have multiple holes in mine from one day of being in the woods. It needs to be redesigned with a better outer material. Im not sure how an active piece can be this brittle. How can you be active in a hunting jacket and not expect to walk through the woods.

It’s one of the most comfortable jackets I’ve ever had, but at the cost of durability. It’s warm and soft. But one good snag and I had a hole.

I plan to use this jacket as an early season jacket or insulating layer while hunting whitetail near Amherst, VA. The jacket is lightweight, has ample room for movement, and will serve great as an outer jacket on warm days or as a insulating layer under a windproof or other outer jacket. Well-constructed and designed.

For the how lightweight it is, I still cannot believe how warm it is. Essentially piece from here on out. Bought an xxl just thought the xl was a little tight and the xxl gives me a little more room.

I purchased the ambient jacket looking for a layering piece underneath my wind blocking layers and this jacket does not disappoint!! It is very versatile and can be used for an out layer to knock some chill off of early season hunts as well.

Easily the best heavyweight active mid layer on the market. Nothing breathes like Ambient and this heavyweight piece is incredibly warm. I’m 6’ 190-200 lb and I chose XL because my shoulders don’t fit in Large Sitka jackets.

Got this as a gift for my father, who is extremely cold-natured. He’s really happy with it. It’s been pretty cold here this winter and he has commented several times on how warm the jacket is. It’s pretty form-fitted, clearly meant to be layered. Quality is top-notch. Typical Sitka.
