This vest is very high quality. Definitely the nicest blaze orange vest I’ve seen. I wear a large in all my Sitka gear and the vest fit is typical.

Vest is a great fit with just enough room to put over a medium weight jacket. If you need a heavier jacket for winter hunting, get a size larger. love the zippered pockets.

Orange Vest

Often overlooked piece of equipment for western hunting where you don't want to get caught without the required sq inches of orange. Flimsy vests rollup and are difficult to manage when donning over bulky clothing. This model from Sitka appears to be heavy enough to drape properly and the low knap fabric should minimize snags when moving through brush. Look forward to using it for my upcoming elk and mule deer hunting.

Great just a couple things

Great quality like always just wished it was a zipper not a clip on the front and had more space and pockets to put birds in. And wish it had slots for shotgun shells.

An Impressive Ballistic Vest

During my initial visit to a Sitka store, to view in-person, I was hesitant to purchase the vest for budget reasons. After a second visit, I made the purchase and let's just say. . . It's a must have to complete any hunters system! Ok, there's more to the say. Those two pockets on the front; "hand pockets", lol! Big enough to accept average size hands. The vest color looks more blazish 🔥 in person. Oh, the reverseable pad for stock/shoulder action feels freakin amazing! Definitely more cushion for the pushing. As durable as a premium vest should be. I've been through winter shrubs and treelines featuring, dead and live thick thorns. Heavy brush scratches seam to not want to come out as of the moment. . . Maybe I should wash it, but I like the smokey pine smell 😂. It's drizzle resistant for sure. Anyhow, very pleased with my purchase! I would absolutely purchase again and I highly recommend to hunters.

Our early woodcock season in Texas had me shucking my upland jacket with blaze and found myself wanting a lightweight and tough orange vest. This vest does not disappoint in comfort and toughness. I wear it pushing through brush and thickets and it holds up while be visible to other bird hunters around me. The pockets on the chest and side come in extremely handy when managing my extra gear that tracks my dog's GPS collars. Highly recommended.

I hate wearing blaze orange because vests are always sloppy and get in the way. While it’s required where I hunt I had to find a solution. This vest more than just orange. It provides ample pockets and an easy clasp. So glad I found it.

Ordered a large first and there was not even room for a sweatshirt under my vest and a mid weight jacket or winter coat would be our of the question. I returned it and ordered a XL. It fits much better and isn't too long. I am 5'9" and 195 pounds with an athletic build
