Blizzard GTX Hat

I've previously used a Sitka beanie, but I've always had trouble keeping it securely in place. The Blizzard GTX Hat, however, fits exceptionally well. I particularly like the fold-down fleece ear flaps, which provide additional coverage and protection from the cold and wind. I tried it on with the Merino 330 Hoodie I recently purchased, and the combination feels fantastic. The fit is comfortable, the coverage is excellent, and everything works together nicely. I'm looking forward to putting both pieces to the test during the upcoming duck hunting season, especially on those cold, windy mornings in the blind!

Nice fit

Was worried about fit when ordering this hat. Its adjustability is great and fits my small head nicely. I honestly ordered it thinking I was gonna be returning it and it ended up being my favorite thing in my order.

Wore this hat in Saskatchewan last week, chasing snow geese. Kept my head and ears nice and cozy on the windy, cold mornings.

Great addition to my hunting arsenal

I have a pretty large head, 7 5/8 for a fitted hat. This hat is snug, but not in a way that it’s uncomfortable. I love the fact that it’s warm, but I can flip up the ear flaps to cool off a bit. It’s a great design, still waiting for Sitka to come out with a Stormy Kromer with their pattern on it, would be a Wisconsin staple.

This hat is awesome. Bought it for late duck hunting. Only thing I wish is that they had one in orange for deer season since in Maine we have to wear 2 pieces of orange for firearm season.

Must have

Extremely comfortable, very warm and wind proof. Fits perfectly with both the flaps up and down. Doesn’t get in the way of my scope and still provides the good sun cover that a typical hat does. Super happy with the purchase of this hat, wish I’d of done it sooner.

GTX Hat

I didn’t like having the cap. Otherwise it would be a fine hat. You can hear well out of it and it is warm/waterproof.

Wonderful

I love this hat. Super warm and is easy to flip up the ear flaps when you get toasty. Brim is the right length to block the sun but not so long that it gets in the way or seems awkward. Love that it is waterproof!

Sitka Hat

The hat fits true to size. I am trying it out in Greenlands frozen, rainy temps and it holds up to the weather perfectly.

The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because it blocks out some noise. This hat will keep your head and ears warm.

Love this hat for waterfowl hunting. I wear eye glasses, so stocking caps are usually uncomfortable and don’t have a brim to block rain. This hat works perfectly.

Great hat, exactly what I was looking for. Better than a stormy Kroger! The sides fold up if you don't need the ears covered! Very very warm. Keeps the wind out.

Extremely warm

The blizzard hat is extremely warm. We had quite a few weeks of below zero temperatures this year and my head was literally sweating. Again, one of the warmest pieces of Sitka gear I own. Downside is that it is a touch snug.

Very warm, hat and beanie combined basically. Gives you the functionality of a hat, blocking sun from your eyes when looking up to shoot and also giving you that extra warmth and wind protection. Great for sunny, cold and windy days.
