Need one in Orange!

My favorite hat for cold weather. One of my only hats that fully covers my ears. I have both marsh and elevated and had one of those hats on my head for over 100 hunts. It keeps me warm, dry, blocks the sun, and keeps precipitation off my face. I need one in blaze orange.

Favorite Winter Hat

This hat is great of both worlds for winter and out performs any beanie. Very warm and the visor keeps the glare down. I bought my several years ago and has the Sitka name on the front.

This seems to be a great hat. So much so I’ve foolishly have bought three. All three give me headaches. One size fits all starts way to small. I continued with the reality it might be larger? Golly I’m an idiotic…. I recommend the product if your head is the size of 10 year old boy

One size fits all is one of only two issues that this hat suffers from. The second issue is the lack of a model of this same hat with a brim all the way around. With a noggin of 7 5/8", I must wear the hat with the ear flaps flipped up on the exterior instead of curled up inside. What would a fellow with 8" of grey matter containing skull have to do?

Best cold weather hat ever

Only issue I see is I would love one in blaze orange.

Best winter hat

Perfect for below freezing temperatures and wind. I wear eyeglasses and the hat doesn’t bother me (I can’t say the same about other winter hats). Best SITKA cold weather hat, I own them all.

Took it out for a few below freezing sits and it was very warm.

Super Warm and Comfy

Hat is extremely warm and does great for cold days out hunting on the big water. I do have a big head and it just barely fits but does still fit well.

Blizzard GTX Hat

Nice hat. A little hesitant about the OSFA. However, the adjustable headband makes it fit perfectly. The earflaps can be folded-up when you need to dump heat quickly. When the earflaps are down, the hat is very warm and waterproof.

I have a Blizzard GTK hat but also want it made in orange for deer guns season.

Great design and fit

My hat size is 7 3/4. This hat has a strap adjustment in the back and it fits my head great. The flaps can be flipped up to allow for better hearing. The hat is extremely warm and comfortable.

No more cold ears

While deer hunting in the west, the cold wind just zaps my ears. Beanie hats worked but just covered the tops of my ears. This hat is going to be super nice on those long gassing sits in the howling ridge top winds.

The blizzard hat is the best hunting hat I have for cool and cold weather the camo pattern is great and when I need orange I wear a florescent band over it.

The Best Hat out there

Bought this hat and wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not. Well I don’t like it, I LOVE IT!! Wore this hat in some nasty conditions and it was awesome , kept me warm and dry. Far exceeded my expectations!

Please make it available in orange

One of the best hats I have ever bought however it doesn’t come in orange. Some states require orange on your head for gun season. Therefore I can’t wear it whe I need it most.

Great hat. Kept me warm and dry duck hunting in rainy SE Alaska. Only drawback is the design makes wearing a headlamp difficult. There’s not much real estate above the brim to work with to securely wear one without really cranking down on the tightness of the headlamp. Once first light hits you’ll be glad you have it on a cold wet day though.

Blizzard Hat

I have many Sitka products, in my opinion, this is the best hunting gear you can buy. Other products are ok, but if you want gear that will last, and defeat the animals senses, Sitka is they best investment you’ll make.

I like it.

I like how it’s formed and won’t slide up like my fleece pile lined pull over. The shorter bill makes it good for archery and doesn’t get in the way. I havnt used in the below zero and snow yet and I think it’ll be good.

Well worth the price

Warm and fuzzy, huge plus is the adjustment on back to keep it from flopping around. This feature also helps if you pull hood over hat to shield neck.
