Excellent Cold Weather Coat

Jacket is super warm, doesn't restrict my movements, and is very comfortable. I was looking for an all around work outside jacket, given the cost I'm apprehensive about doing certain kinds of work in it (fence mending, brush removal). The side chest pockets are super comfortable, the huge pockets inside are very handy for sticking my gloves into or my hat. Kind of wish the hood was removable, though when I snugged it down I could ride out on the ATV in full comfort. It is a great coat overall.

Awesome

Had this out a few times in nasty storms with temps below 0 and was great! Very warm, the oversizing made layering really easy while not feeling too big (I got my typical size, Large). Was very impressed with the performance of the jacket for being as lightweight as it is, very comfortable to wear. It also wasn't overly bulky for being such a warm parka, which is nice considering all the mobility needed at times moving around, setting things up etc. When the conditions get nasty this is definitely what's coming with me!

Perfect Coat!

The Jacket For Extremes

Awesome parka and very warm

Just picked up this parka. I was going on a hunt and the weather forecast single digits. This coat was is warm and comfortable. I hunted in mid teens with 30mph winds and I was surprised. Next morning hunt was in the single digits and was very comfortable. I am cold natured and love the warmth of this parka and the freedom of movement.

Very Nice Waterproof Insulation

Tested this out while walking my dog in 20 degrees Fahrenheit yesterday in Missouri. While active I could get by with just this and a tshirt. For comparison my 2021 Duckoven Jacket is warmer than this. So if you have the duckoven and a Hudson or a delta wading jacket, hold off on buying. I felt the hood was a bit off when wearing a beanie, but the hood is insulated so maybe the idea is you don’t need one? No interior zipper pocket wasn’t ideal. It is the expedition cut so you should expect it to be baggier. I went down a size to keep it slimmer and because I have shorter arms and don’t like the sleeves bunched up when using the Velcro.

Great but a tad noisy

I wanted a do all upgrade for whitetail hunting and I sometimes do all day hunts in windy or rainy conditions and this jacket will do that. The noisy part won’t get in the way for what I need. I got large and I think it leaves plenty of room for base and mid layers. I didn’t go medium for fear the sleeves would be too short.

Tailored Fit

Just received the new version and very impressed, it fits like a Master's jacket. From the large main zipper to ample sized pockets inside and out, all in the right places. The back shoulder and sleeves have excellent freedom with lateral movement. Nice touch with the tapper cut cuffs and the location and quality of the Velcro. Can't wait to try it out when it gets cold here in Alberta.
