The Jacket For Extremes

Jacket works flawlessly even on the codest days of hunting. -10 degrees while driving the boat and I was completey warm in the Blizzard Jacket. The only draw back is you can't wade very deep with it on.

Look, feel and fit

The look, warmth and fit of the product was absolute;y perfect!!!

The best jacket

I work in all weather conditions. This jacket kept me warm at 4° for 4 hours. The wind was blowing, and I was warm as could be. I was with people who had other name-brand jackets, and I was more comfortable than anyone else. Thanks, Sitka.

Awesome parka and very warm

Just picked up this parka. I was going on a hunt and the weather forecast single digits. This coat was is warm and comfortable. I hunted in mid teens with 30mph winds and I was surprised. Next morning hunt was in the single digits and was very comfortable. I am cold natured and love the warmth of this parka and the freedom of movement.

Very Nice Waterproof Insulation

Tested this out while walking my dog in 20 degrees Fahrenheit yesterday in Missouri. While active I could get by with just this and a tshirt. For comparison my 2021 Duckoven Jacket is warmer than this. So if you have the duckoven and a Hudson or a delta wading jacket, hold off on buying. I felt the hood was a bit off when wearing a beanie, but the hood is insulated so maybe the idea is you don’t need one? No interior zipper pocket wasn’t ideal. It is the expedition cut so you should expect it to be baggier. I went down a size to keep it slimmer and because I have shorter arms and don’t like the sleeves bunched up when using the Velcro.

Wonderful jacket!

Great jacket!! Heavy, but not overly. Nice waterproof pockets and other nice features. I am 5'8, 165lbs and got a medium, and it was almost perfect, maybe a tad big. It defiantly runs large for me. If you want a great jacket that will last years, you've found it here!

Excellent

Appears to be very warm, lightweight and fully waterproof. Everything youll need for extreme cold weather. I look forward to testing in -40 to -50 degree weather.

Fantastic Parka

I live an hour north of Ottawa Canada. We get a lot of snow. Gets pretty cold (minus 31F kind of cold). This jacket is great so far. I haven’t worn it when it’s peak cold yet.

Impervious!!!!

This is an amazing coat, windproof, waterproof and seemingly self regulates temperature so you don’t overheat. Blends in very well and the magnetic closures higher on the chest are much appreciated.

Never be afraid of ultra

Never be afraid of ultra cold ever again. Buy this quality, well thought out parka.

Great

Love the product.

Sitka Customer

I love all the Sitka product line. Top quality material.

WARM

By far the best super warm jacket I have. I tell most people it's like wearing a sleeping bag, but in jacket form. I'm in Tennessee, and some say it's too much for temps here, but I love this jacket on a 20-degree morning. Great for windy and rainy days. It does run big, but it's great.

Great jacket

Water proof, warm- great glassing jacket

Great but a tad noisy

I wanted a do all upgrade for whitetail hunting and I sometimes do all day hunts in windy or rainy conditions and this jacket will do that. The noisy part won’t get in the way for what I need. I got large and I think it leaves plenty of room for base and mid layers. I didn’t go medium for fear the sleeves would be too short.

Unmatched Warmth and Performance

The Blizzard Pro Parka is hands down the best cold-weather gear I’ve ever owned. From the moment you put it on, you can feel the premium construction and attention to detail. The insulation is top-notch—keeps me warm in brutal conditions without ever feeling bulky. The design is clearly made for hunters and outdoorsmen who spend long days in the elements: it’s quiet, durable, and sheds wind and moisture with ease. The hood and cuffs seal in heat perfectly, while the pockets are well thought out and placed exactly where you need them. I’ve worn a lot of cold-weather gear over the years, but nothing has come close to the comfort, protection, and overall performance of this parka. Fit is true to size, with just enough room for layering if needed. If you’re looking for a parka that will keep you out longer and more comfortable in the worst conditions, this is it. Worth every penny.

Love the outfit

The pants fit great. The jacket might be a little big. I was thinking of returning it for a smaller size.

Tailored Fit

Just received the new version and very impressed, it fits like a Master's jacket. From the large main zipper to ample sized pockets inside and out, all in the right places. The back shoulder and sleeves have excellent freedom with lateral movement. Nice touch with the tapper cut cuffs and the location and quality of the Velcro. Can't wait to try it out when it gets cold here in Alberta.
