Best Jacket for cold weather

I originally bought this jacket for a King Eider hunt in Greenland. Although it was 20 degrees with waves splashing in our faces the whole time, I remained warm and comfortable. Only when we would relocate I would go into the cabin and would quickly dry off. The jacket simply repels cold and water. Absolutely amazing jacket. The bibs are the same quality. This jacket and bib combo is a new late season deer hunt must.

Best Coat Ever Worn

Best coat I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. Extremely warm and still easy to move around in, also seems to be very durable. Please do another run in the black I bought one size too small 😭

I'm not a big guy, but I bought this jacket in a large size to allow for layering. Turned out to be the perfect size for me. Handsome, durable jacket. Keeps me warm and dry.

Buffalo

I bought this coat right before I left for South Dakota for a Buffalo hunt in December. What a lifesaver.

This is literally the nicest coat I have ever worn. It isn’t bulky and I haven’t found anywhere this winter where I was cold when I was wearing it. The gear fits the hype! Love it.

Very warm and lightweight and fits true to size. I’m 59 184 and I’ve got enough room for clothes underneath but it’s not all bulky.

Perfect Coat!

I am a Waterfowl guide/outfitter and bought this coat in December of 2025. Ducks pushed down to eastern Long Island and many days I was in snow and wind chills close to zero from dawn to dusk with clients. Best Coat Ever!

Best winter coat I have ever owned, including an earlier version of the Blizzard parka.

Awesome

Had this out a few times in nasty storms with temps below 0 and was great! Very warm, the oversizing made layering really easy while not feeling too big (I got my typical size, Large). Was very impressed with the performance of the jacket for being as lightweight as it is, very comfortable to wear. It also wasn't overly bulky for being such a warm parka, which is nice considering all the mobility needed at times moving around, setting things up etc. When the conditions get nasty this is definitely what's coming with me!

Excellent Cold Weather Coat

Jacket is super warm, doesn't restrict my movements, and is very comfortable. I was looking for an all around work outside jacket, given the cost I'm apprehensive about doing certain kinds of work in it (fence mending, brush removal). The side chest pockets are super comfortable, the huge pockets inside are very handy for sticking my gloves into or my hat. Kind of wish the hood was removable, though when I snugged it down I could ride out on the ATV in full comfort. It is a great coat overall.

The one comment that thing I observed was the coat does not have thumb holes which used to be in their coats

Alaska Warm

Used this on a trapping tripping to Alaska this past January. It was awesome and never once got cold. I only used minimal under layers.

Very warm jacket with goretex. Little bit larger than I expected, but it’s true to size. I tried it without bibs. I think with bibs it will be ok.

Bought it to my father who is a hunter, and he told me that it was serving him well under very cold winter conditions.

Pro Parka / Pants

Very warm and fairly light weight compared to the old traditional work coat and coverall’s. Would be the perfect set for snowboarding.

The Jacket For Extremes

Jacket works flawlessly even on the codest days of hunting. -10 degrees while driving the boat and I was completey warm in the Blizzard Jacket. The only draw back is you can't wade very deep with it on.

The best jacket

I work in all weather conditions. This jacket kept me warm at 4° for 4 hours. The wind was blowing, and I was warm as could be. I was with people who had other name-brand jackets, and I was more comfortable than anyone else. Thanks, Sitka.

Awesome parka and very warm

Just picked up this parka. I was going on a hunt and the weather forecast single digits. This coat was is warm and comfortable. I hunted in mid teens with 30mph winds and I was surprised. Next morning hunt was in the single digits and was very comfortable. I am cold natured and love the warmth of this parka and the freedom of movement.

Very Nice Waterproof Insulation

Tested this out while walking my dog in 20 degrees Fahrenheit yesterday in Missouri. While active I could get by with just this and a tshirt. For comparison my 2021 Duckoven Jacket is warmer than this. So if you have the duckoven and a Hudson or a delta wading jacket, hold off on buying. I felt the hood was a bit off when wearing a beanie, but the hood is insulated so maybe the idea is you don’t need one? No interior zipper pocket wasn’t ideal. It is the expedition cut so you should expect it to be baggier. I went down a size to keep it slimmer and because I have shorter arms and don’t like the sleeves bunched up when using the Velcro.

Wonderful jacket!

Great jacket!! Heavy, but not overly. Nice waterproof pockets and other nice features. I am 5'8, 165lbs and got a medium, and it was almost perfect, maybe a tad big. It defiantly runs large for me. If you want a great jacket that will last years, you've found it here!

Appears to be very warm, lightweight and fully waterproof. Everything youll need for extreme cold weather. I look forward to testing in -40 to -50 degree weather.

Fantastic Parka

I live an hour north of Ottawa Canada. We get a lot of snow. Gets pretty cold (minus 31F kind of cold). This jacket is great so far. I haven’t worn it when it’s peak cold yet.

Impervious!!!!

This is an amazing coat, windproof, waterproof and seemingly self regulates temperature so you don’t overheat. Blends in very well and the magnetic closures higher on the chest are much appreciated.
