Good Fitting Great Feeling Baselayer

I have worn a few times but so far I like it. Fit well. . . I ordered a medium. Doesn't seem to have as much stretch has more merino baselayers but it has enough to move freely. I really like the include face mask. I think it will be thin enough to run my duck call through it.

Fit, material, seams and feel are typical Sitka: perfect. It runs true to size and appears to be built for the long haul.

I love thi hoodie. I

I love thi hoodie. I used it to turkey hunt, and was moving and belly crawling. It performed well. I recommend as a base layer and as a shirt to were while hunting in warm weather. I love the face mask. It conceals your face pretty well especially if wearing a hot with it.

I spend a lot of time outdoors working with my 2 Labs. This hoodie is perfect hot days outdoors. Blocks the sun and is very breathable. Super comfortable.

Bought specifically for a sun shirt for fishing and it serves its purpose well i ordered a size up so I could layer an extra shirt underneath when needed the built in facemask is very convenient

Not too light, not too

Not too light, not too heavy. It was a great addition to spring hunting! The only issue I found is that when a burr or thorn would snag it, a thread would run out. Needless to say, it was an overall great addition to my gear.

I’ve been really impressed with the Sitka Optifade Core Lightweight Hoodie. The fabric just feels good; light, soft, and not clingy at all. Hunting in the Texas heat can be brutal, but this hoodie has honestly made a big difference in keeping me comfortable out there.

Great piece. Not very durable.

This is one of my favorite pieces for hunting and everyday wear. But man they are not as durable anymore. You look at them wrong and they'll develop snags and fray's.

Perfect for hot weather hunting

I previously bought the subalpine but needed new colors to match the environment. These are my favorite to wear for hunting. There seemed to be a difference in sizes between subalpine and cover but they both were great for me. I like to wear things a little loose. Subalpine was 2x while the cover was 3x.

I have been using Sitka Gear since 2010, and it’s the best clothing for outdoor travel. In my opinion, it has the best-designed camouflage in the world, and the price is not too high.

Very lightweight and breathable. Perfect for warmer days with all of the attributes of the fanatic gear. Also really good for additional layer on cold mornings and then remove vest of jacket as it warms up without losing the full camo coverage.
